Yesterday's episode was really sad. Cried. Hard to watch. Hard to watch him making his dad drink. Hard to watch his dad.

I don't think Dylan's horrible though. I think he's a bit broken. I relate to him.

ADarkandStormyKnight · 14/10/2018 19:55

Yes I saw in Dylan a desperate need to equalise things with his dad. Of all the times for him to show up... it was really humiliating for his dad to see him while he was at rock bottom.

Optimist1 · 14/10/2018 22:03

Yes, a very low point for Dylan and a very sad episode. The only redeeming feature was how great David was in the support of his friend. I'd like a friend like him.

Me too

William Beck is wasted on Casualty. What a fantastic actor. Some of the episode was obviously ridiculous but the acting was outstanding from William throughout.

I remember him in Attachments too, character was a bit of a geezer, lots of drugging and shagging.

This. The storyline was loopy, but even so he managed to make something out of it. And delighted as I was to see Chris Cagney turning up again, I couldn't help wondering how she got there so quickly. Even supposing she has a private jet it would still take a few hours from the US.

QueenofmyPrinces · 18/10/2018 10:16

I found the episode a bit boring actually and Dylan just annoyed me with his self indulgent pity.

Because it showed his dad puffing on his inhaler every 5 minutes I anticipated him having a full blown asthma attack when they were alone and Dylan would just stand back and watch his father die. Maybe that’s what the writers wanted us to think was going to happen?

I agree with the comment about Connie wearing a white shirt in Resus Grin

Did anyone else notice Elle call Jacob “Pudding” Grin We’ve not heard that in a while Grin

The Gemma/Rash storyline is getting too predictable now so I’m starting to lose interest...

luckycat007 · 19/10/2018 11:18

I'm glad he gave his dad his just deserts but I'd have rather Dylan had just had a happy outcome rather than that episode.

Glad we didn't see much of Blake or Ru-beh as Ian would say 😊

luckycat007 · 19/10/2018 11:19

Oh and I want the American lady in it permanently. Love her!!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/10/2018 13:45

Shame Dylan didn’t get together with the lady

He deserves romance

As so their dogs 😂😂

QueenofmyPrinces · 20/10/2018 07:30

I actually found the American women’s really annoying!!

David on the other hand is brilliant!!!

QueenofmyPrinces · 20/10/2018 07:32

The American woman really annoying

sweetkitty · 20/10/2018 22:36

I felt so sorry for Dylan tonight, he deserves some happiness.

Optimist1 · 20/10/2018 22:57

Poor Dylan! Yes, kitty, he deserves happiness. He braved the indignity of having to treat Ciara, took the time to investigate behind the scenes for her, stuck his neck above the parapet to declare his feelings again, was sensible enough to know that her moving in with him wouldn't be good for her and then she whips the rug from under him AGAIN. I was so pleased that he decided that the answer wasn't to be found at the bottom of a bottle.

purpleme12 · 21/10/2018 10:28

But I feel scared for Dylan coming that close

SoupDragon · 21/10/2018 11:25

I had an inner "yes!" when he smashed the full glass.

QueenofmyPrinces · 21/10/2018 11:50

Dylan was brilliant in last nights episode.

I wish I could go and live with him on his boat. I hate dogs but I would even tolerate living with Dervla if it meant I could look at and be with Dr Keough every day!! He’s pretty yummy as well as a great actor.

I loved the scenes of his interview with the CQC lady - he’s just fab!

purpleme12 · 21/10/2018 12:03

Yes me too

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 21/10/2018 12:25

So many things about last nights episode. Setting Dylan aside for a moment, Louise seemingly forgetting what CQC stood for, Robyn seemingly forgetting all her patient confidentiality training and giving a patient's husband her medical history and Duffy seemingly forgetting Charlie was stopping her killing a patient!! (I have purposely done all these as seemingly forgetting )

Now back to poor Dylan. Laid his heart on the line and she trod all over it . So pleased he smashed the glass but I have a feeling Costa will end up dead!!

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 21/10/2018 12:25

Ciara not Costa I may use the word Costa too much

davisday · 21/10/2018 12:36

paddington

Im sure it's wrong but I'm relived about Costa Blush

Poor Ciara though, you could be right

AnotherOriginalUsername · 21/10/2018 16:10

Is it just me or has Louise had the quickest career progression from receptionist to band 6 nurse in the history of ever?

davisday · 21/10/2018 16:15

Haha yes, and she isn't even that good Confused
