The storyline about the man who hated the NHS seemed a bit pointless

This sort of character (rude to staff/making notes/filming procedures/disparaging of the NHS) seems to appear every few months, Queen. They usually suffer a medical emergency of some sort, are saved and immediately see the error of their ways!

I’m finding Duffy increasingly annoying.
I accidentally saw a spoiler about Duffy. Stupid newspapers (well to be honest, wasn't much of a spoiler, so I'm not really that bothered!!)

Ruby is annoying IMO but Iain is getting there also although it was Base and Blake I wanted to kill last week 🤣. Still need to watch tonight's.

For someone that’s a stickler for rules and confessing mistakes, Ruby kept awfully quiet about letting the non-doctor compress in the ambulance!

I have zero interest in any storyline involving Duffy.

Any job offer to Louise should have been retracted when she acted like a child and stamped her foot because they dared interview her. Let's not forget she was a band 2 receptionist not so long ago. She seems to have scaled the NHS pay grades at an alarming rate even by Casualty standards she'll be in charge of the ED by Christmas

Louise claimed to follow the party line during the course of her interview but afterwards told Charlie that she should have been given the job by default and without the interview process? Mad!

And if Duffy is suffering clinical depression surely she, of all people, should know how it manifests (and how to manage it)?

The Sixth Sense type story was very sad.

I cried so much at the little boy and the mum too. Heartbreaking

I'm so awful at recognising faces that I didn't realise the ex-GP mum was the same person as the freezer mum and spent about 4/3 of the episode internally screaming 'What about that little boy in the freezer??'

I realised they wer the same person and still didn’t quite twig what had happened! Mostly because I couldn’t bear to watch the intro with the freezer as I could see what was going to happen.

Duffy is as wooden an actor as they come, even more than Charlie (and that’s saying something). Louise has always had a terrible attitude.

I spent the episode wondering why the he'll she'd forgotten her other son. Then when the baby's dad turned up I thought I was losing my mind. Thankfully they resolved quite quickly why he looked extraordinarily similar to the ex-GPs husband!!

I kept wondering what was going on with the boy in the freezer too. I had to rewind part to check the mother was actually the same person, then wondered why he wasn't mentioned. Just when I'd decided the incident was going to happen later ie we'd been shown the incident and now we were seeing what led up to it, the pregnant woman made a comment about the doctor woman seeing a boy who wasn't there, I realised he'd died! Slightly confusing!!

I also thought it was strange for Louise to get so cross at Charlie over the interview. even if she was the only candidate, she'd still need to be interviewed to make sure she was the one for the job. Very unprofessional of her.

Tbh, Louise's reaction to having to go through the interview would have made me rescind the job offer!

I can imagine saying “I can’t believe you made me go through that!” almost jokingly but she went on and on. TBH, it was unprofessional of them to tell her she was the only candidate anyway.

I miss seeing Connie - it feels like she’s hardly in it these days and I was surprised there was nothing of Dylan and following up on last weeks storyline when he started drinking again.

Agree with how ridiculous Louise’s tired was - that would never happen.

Did anyone else think it was going to come out in the storyline that the GP lady was responsible for the baby’s broken rib because she wanted the baby to die due to it being her husband’s?

I’m glad Iain was a bit nicer to Ruby at the end. Am I the only one who likes Ruby??
