Just watched last nights ..... I just want to hug Dylan!

GetHappy · 23/09/2018 11:21

Also, thinking maybe a brain tumour for Duffy??

WelcomeToGreenvale · 23/09/2018 11:29

The girl who played Antoinette was so incredibly beautiful Shock

Looking forward to finding out what's going on with Duffy

Icecreambythesea · 23/09/2018 14:00

Why do that to poor Dylan? He never seems to get a happy story line.

It looks like Duffy could be facing some serious health issues... they did tease that there's some tough times ahead for her and Charlie in the trailer.

CaptainHammer · 23/09/2018 14:31

Just catching up, oh Dylan :(

Optimist1 · 23/09/2018 15:48

Perhaps Charlie could take long-term leave to stay home with Duffy? Then we wouldn't be bothered by either of them. Smile

Karting1967 · 23/09/2018 19:29

Surely Dylan should be pulled up on the way he spoke to David?

zukiecat · 23/09/2018 20:52

Am I the only person who absolutely cannot stand Dylan?

I recorded Casualty last night and watched it today, I fast forwarded the bits with him in it

I usually go and do something else when he's on

ellesbellesxxx · 23/09/2018 21:26

Aw I like Dylan... poor Dylan and poor Ciara 😢

GetHappy · 23/09/2018 22:01

I’m a Dylan fan! I personally feel he’s one of the better things about the programme

Gersemi · 23/09/2018 23:25

Given a choice between Dylan and Connie, or Dylan and Ellie, or Dylan and Jacob, I'll take Dylan every time.

purpleme12 · 24/09/2018 00:08

Wow that was a powerful and sad episode in many ways

I'm really not liking Ian and his attitude to Ruby

StripySocksAndDocs · 24/09/2018 13:43

I didn't used to like Dylan. Do now.

The couple who broke into the brother's house. What was the story there? She had a condition but I missed what it was? Why was it significant? I definitely missed something as it felt a bit surplus. Along with irritating man who was against NHS.

snozzlemaid · 24/09/2018 19:45

I think she had borderline personality disorder.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 24/09/2018 19:53

I think the significance of the couple who broke in was the way that the woman (who had BPD) asserted her desire to stay with the boyfriend even though her brother thought he was no good for her. It actually turned out that the boyfriend was looking after the girlfriend, hadn't wanted the police called because she was already known to them for some kind of protest (and was on a good behaviour bond, perhaps?) It seemed to me (and the fact that I can't create paragraphs any more is REALLY BUGGING ME, MNHQ) that seeing her determination to look after her boyfriend, and his to look after her, Dylan realised that he and Ciara could perhaps have a relationship after all despite both being damaged; that maybe they could help each other to be better people. That's why he went back and asked her to reconsider.

HettySunshine · 24/09/2018 20:43

Hate the way Ciara's husband is enabling her drinking. It properly gave me the chills when he gave her the hip flask.

frazzled3ds · 24/09/2018 22:36

He was definitely a manipulative creep! Really felt for Dylan - hope he can get back on the wagon and move on somehow, if only to get back on the boat and take poor Dervla for a walk!

luckycat007 · 25/09/2018 16:58

Blake was the most annoying character of the last episode. Base was a bit irritating too.

I love Dylan, I wish he would find someone nice.

Gersemi · 25/09/2018 18:10

Annoying Bolshy Patient looked very like Dylan about the face, if Dylan were considerably bigger. I began to wonder whether they were related IRL.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/09/2018 11:09

Watching via you tube as sunny myself 🌞🌞

StripySocksAndDocs · 26/09/2018 13:52

Eric Potts was Bolshy Patient. Don't think he's related to William Beck.

They did look similar though!!

He appears, thus far, to be utterly pointless. He has all the charisma and acting talent of my ironing board.

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 26/09/2018 20:19

OnlyLiving YABU to your ironing board Grin

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 26/09/2018 22:00

I thought that as soon as I’d posted! At least my ironing board has a purpose Grin

QueenofmyPrinces · 28/09/2018 09:31

Just caught up on the last two episodes. For some reason the whole “Dylan being in love” storyline just felt odd because it’s so against his normal character - I just couldn’t take it seriously to be honest.

I also wondered why Alisha didn’t just move into the spare room if she couldn’t bear to sleep in her own room. Seems like the most obvious thing for her to have done?

I wonder what storyline is going to come from Blake tracking down his grandma? A child abuse story maybe in that she used to beat/starve Jacob?

Connie hasn’t been in it much lately has she??

I’m finding Duffy increasingly annoying.

And I’m really starting to dislike Iain now. I used to like his character (and he’s cute which helps) but the way he’s treating Ruby is awful. It was obvious Base was going to leg it with the drugs bag, as if you’d leave someone you hardly know with a drug habit alone in your ambulance? And was it right that Iain got out to buy Base some cigarettes? I’m trying to imagine a uniformed paramedic ambling into the corner shop and buying some fags Grin

The storyline about the man who hated the NHS seemed a bit pointless?

At least Louise hasn’t been mentioning her car parking tickets recently.
