Good God... how did they win best soap? The best soap is Molten Brown. Fact. (Lime and Patchouli, specifically!) What with dozy Rosie, booed Jude and airy-fairy Rosemary... think we'll all be reaching for the remote control by the time Jude has emerged from his kennel!

I am pleased they have wrapped up the Kayla/bad cop storyline as it was dragging on far too long. Now can they just wrap up some of the other loose end - Sean in the tent, who buys the rovers, what happens to the factory and so on.

The little girls are adorable. Hopefully they will stay natural.

At least that wrapped up quicker that Phelan's prisoner in the basement storyline. I was expecting her to have Bethany for at least a week.

Sawfie looks like she just got back from her audition to be the new member in a reformed Bewitched.

We now know that that the street childminder/babysitter is Mrs. Martin and she's getting on a bit.

I think Steve is going to fall for Abi the very subtle signs are there...... they are making her character a bit like Becky, who was a homeless thief when she arrived in the street and Abi a homeless drug addict, both becoming reformed characters. You heard it here first

Can’t believe Gail is 67!! She looks amazing! Agree with previous posters re Kayla’s annoying lips, for me it’s not just the puffed up look but how dry her lips look, I want to slap some lip balm on them.

Presume Claudia will outbid Sinead for the empty shop and there will now be salon wars in the street......yawn.

Dear god it plumbed the depths last night. The whole Kayla /Bethany /Craig thing surely has to be the weakest plot line in any soap (saying something). So Bethany was tied up and held captive and would just walk away, after her traumas? I could hardly follow because of Kayla's lips. Bonkers. It says something when everyone else is out performed by Hawp and Roobeh.

Plus a bank's error gives Tim a windfall which he gives to Jack so that Kevin can stay with him in Liverpool?

If my wife was the mayor and she had just been scammed out of £50k, and suddenly there was an unexpected £1k in our joint bank account - I'd not only be telling her, I'd be telling the police.

I think the writers realised they had backed themselves into an alley with the stupid Kevin story and going to a flat in Liverpool that they apparently can't afford, so found a clumsy way to rectify it.

Unless I am right, and it's linked to the scam!

It's about an hour in the car. Kevin could easily get there and back in a day. Do the scriptwriters actually think it through? I don't know why they gave Jack sepsis and an amputation.. Just another issue?

I think Jack was heading towards a contract with Weathy County and they needed to make sure he didn't end up with a Footballer's Wives lifestyle buying Kev a mansion in Alderley Edge!

Surely Tim isn't thick enough to spend money that appears in his account, he seemed smart enough when Sally was in trouble. It has to be connected to the scam, though I am not sure how.

I know!! Yet another storyline where they had no idea how to end it so just wrapped it up as quick as they could. Awful.

Its only 40 minutes by car from Manchester to Liverpool. So the script writers have proved they really no nothing.
For a soap set in Manchester and they don't even know where Liverpool is I fucking despair

Why are they pretending Liverpool is so expensive I'm admittedly looking at this through London centric eyes but when I visited I saw entire houses for rent near the city centre equivalent to the cost of renting a double room in a house share in the SE. Surely Kevin can stretch to a 1bed flat or simply drive!
