Aliyah is such an awful horrible character I'm not surprised the Connors want to say Aiden wasn't in his right mind when he wrote his will.

Steve and Kirk seem to be the only authentic characters at the moment.

Have they said what date the will was made? It seems to me there are two possibilities. Either
A) he made it before Carla gave him the factory, in which case he only intended to leave Alya his 10% and somehow overlooked it while making all his other preparations before he died

Or

B) he made it as part of his preparations with the intention of leaving the whole thing to Alya, in which case I suppose they have a legitimate case to suggest he may not have been in his right mind.

It all comes down to when the will was dated, right? Unless I'm missing something (often the case to be fair)

Yes seem to recall them saying it was before Carla signed the factory over to him. So surely they have a half decent argument that Aiden only ever intended to give aliyah 10%?

I don't like Alya, but Carla's bullying of her is awful, and I can't stand Carla now. I want to see her get her come uppance.

Alya is horrible, she seems to have no redeeming features. Carla isn't particularly nice, but I felt sorry for her breaking down like that.

@PrincessScarlet - that argument doesn't work I'm afraid.

If he said "give A my shares in the factory" and his shares are 100% that's what she gets. Can't argue with it.
If he said "give A my 10% share of the factory" they'd be fine.
I'm guessing it says the former else they wouldn't be worrying.
If it does say the former, his solicitor should have suggested different wording in case his share changed, so he either had a crap solicitor (no! Surely not!) or he disagreed, wanting her to have whatever share he owned at the time. He may even have anticipated owning more at some point and still gone with that wording.
The solicitor should have kept notes of the conversation that might be helpful, but they probably wouldn't make any difference.

I know my ex won't have changed his will, if he dies, I get the house. His ds was provided for so he could not contest it, so unless he remarries and still hasn't changed it, and there is no-one else with a reasonable expectation of financial support from him, I'd still get the house.

Kirk's emotional affair is quite interesting and realistic.

The Will storyline should be quite compelling.

The drugs storyline was an embarrassment.

I hate to see Johnny being so abusive to Jenny and her walking on eggshells. Probably quite true to life, but I cringe for her.
