Can I just proclaim my deep abiding love for Mary's character? High Point last night:in the flower shop on her own & talking quite seriously to a flower she'd named Idris! I wish she'd get a man again, her musings on love/men used to crease me up.

I'm also very glad Carla is back, I love her 'look' & her relationship with Roy, who I also love, is really touching/ well acted by both. Her & Peter were good match & should re couple. Plot wise tho, all bit 'meh' at moment. New baddy needed?

Mary is definitely the comedy relief in Corrie, and it’s needed.

Peter was looking highly shaggable by the tram station. The problem with the Craig/Bethany/Kaylip triangle is that there is zero chemistry between any of them. Now Eva and Adam on the other hand...

Oh no, I hate Mary's pathetic "comedy " bits, she is an embarrassment! I always imagine the actress looking at her script and thinking "Oh, my God, I've got to try and make that funny......"

I didn't find the Mary bits funny or relief either.

But yes - Eva and Adam! Eva you're never going to find a man that adores you and takes care of you like he would. He's so loved up!

What's happened to hot lawyer Imran? I hope that by invoking his name he shall appear in the next episode.

I too love Mary and her ramblings. She was lost in her daydream with Idris, telling him not come up too quickly...

Did Craig sit at a&e reception all night?
Was Bethany tied up for 2 days? How did she wee???? All very daft.

Have to agree about Hope & Ruby. They were excellent last night, no side looks to the cameras and lines delivered with good timing.

BettyBoo I thought that about Steve too. He was being very complimentary to Abi (about her hair etc) at Beth's party. Also, Abi has struck up an unlikely friendship with Tracy - so they can have a big scrap over Steve later.

Has Rula Lenska been unwell or does she have an ill-fitting plate? Her voice sounds thick and schlurry.

Rula Lenska talks without unclenching her jaw. Its like she's frightened of her teeth flying out.

Yes to mega chemistry between Adam and Eva. They are made for each other.

Rula Lenska's voice is so bizarre I was also wondering if something is wrong with her.

I'm afraid I laughed out loud at Craig's panic attacks. Not to mention Kayla rooting around in her black bag to produce a pivotal piece of evidence that turned out to be - ta da - a picture of her dad.

Perhaps something is in store for Abi and Steve. The friendship with Tracey seems a bit random otherwise as Beth already fills the role of her loud mouthed bestie and characters on Corrie never seem to have more than one close friend at a time.

I saw Rula Lenska a few years back in Ludlow and she was very elegant. Wasn't she married to Dennis Waterman at some point? Must Google.

Yes, I think Waterman wasn't a good husband to her. But, also wasn't there a thing in the press where Waterman's daughter had publicly stated something about Rula being an absolutely vile stepmother to her?

Have to agree with Petrol re Carla, I used to really like her style back in the day, but she has pretty much worn the same outfit since she joined Corrie, it’s always black leather jacket, black skinny jeans and black ankle boots, she really needs to nvest in some new and more up to date clothes, and her voice sounds like she smokes heavily in real life which I find really off putting.
