Good God... how did they win best soap? The best soap is Molten Brown. Fact. (Lime and Patchouli, specifically!) What with dozy Rosie, booed Jude and airy-fairy Rosemary... think we'll all be reaching for the remote control by the time Jude has emerged from his kennel!

I want the Kayla storyline to finish asap, it's so nasty. I think the actor who plays Craig has improved a lot, he looks genuinely distraught in some of his scenes.

Probably because he has to act with the awful Kayla.

One good thing though, Ryan's buggered off to Ibiza. Missing you already, not.

Well it proves the nature/nurture debate. The son brought up by Michelle becomes a wastrel DJ in a party town, the one brought up by another couple becomes a doctor.

I hope they're not going to recycle the Pat Phelan scrips with someone locked in the cellar, only this time with Kayla and Bethany.

Everyone will think Bethany is in Ibiza with Ryan, when really she's spending two weeks locked up in Kayla's garage while Kayla's mum is at Grandad's house before Ryan comes home and they realise she never went with him.

I fast forwarded half of it tonight I can’t stand that Craig storyline

Well he’s a terrible actor. It’s far too big a storyline for him to handle.

Kayla will be Phelan mark 2, murder Craig, Bethany, Maria, Sawpheh, Sinead, Michelle, Ryan, Jude, Angie and Toyah. We can only hope.

i can't understand why they give big storylines to such weak actors. Some of them sound like something you'd hear in a school play, worse in fact......and those lips of Kaylas certainly are off putting, definitely looks like fillers.

How Kayla, being on the smaller side, manages to subdue, tie up and move Bethany is anyone's guess.

Yep it was Margi Clark, she was Deirdres cell mate as far as I remember and she turned up on the doorstep one day, Tyrone hasn't seen her in years, I thought they were going to say that Cilla had died.

I am probably mistaken, but surely Audrey would have discovered what Kayla's second name when she checked that she had insurance. Surely, someone would have thought "hang on a tick, this girl has the same second name as one of the blokes who hurt our Bethany".

I hope Kayla does not keep Bethany hostage. As others have said, it has been done too many times before.

The scriptwriters don't seem to pay attention to realities like tenant rights and data protection (Ysmeen would be a stickler for the latter, too).

Ryan's social media feed would indicate that Bethany is absent, surely.

I think Kayla will keep her overnight at the very least. Ryan has only gone for two nights isn't it not two weeks. Yes Gary and Sarah got a flat but we have never seen it. And yes Maria could go to her clients, she can leave Liam with the famous weatherfield 24 hour childminder.
