Whilst I like Gemma, her and Henry as a couple is ludicrous. Are Corrers going to continue with it as a long term story line or completely blow it up over the course of a week I wonder? Also, I hope it doesn't come under the header of spoiler, but am I right in thinking that there is no actual evidence that baby Susie is Aiden's?

Eva seems pretty sure based on the dates though. I don't think there was an overlap between Aiden and Adam was there?

How early was Suzie? I guess the earlier she was the more likely she is to be Aiden's. Unless I'm remembering incorrectly of coyrse!

Ive always thought Susie will turn out to be Adam’s. As far as I remember Eva did sleep with him very soon after she split with Aidan.

My memory of them was that in the earlier days Jack was quite awful. having affairs and being horrible and insulting to Vera in that way that 70's and 80's comedies found funny but nobody else did. And that's why Vera was so obsessed with Terry, because Jack was horrible to both of them and so Terry was all she had.

They remind me of PIL's actually, telling one of their awful stories about how they knew their Army friend was back home because his wife would have a black eye. They used to laugh about that and I hated it.

But that's how I see Jack and Vera, especially in the earlier years. An abusive relationship dressed up as comedy. Once that went out of fashion they tried to paper over it and show them as a loving couple but it never quite worked for me.

I'm worried about Audreh. At the very lest she needs to go on a few courses to invigorate her snipping technique.

I agree Hygge. I'm watching Classic Corrie currently, and Jack and Vera's relationship is toxic. He treats her with undisguised contempt, most recently trying to seduce a Rovers barmaid less than half his age. They're realistic characters of their time, portrayed by very good actors, but their marriage was horrIble and I don't agree with the rose-tinted view of it.

As an aside, Bill Tarmey was apparently very different irl according to Lynne Perrie's no-holds-barred autobiography. He met his wife-to-be at 14 and was faithful to her.

Just googled Sue Nicholls to find out if she is really 78, but she is actually 74- only 7 years older than Gail No way does Gail look 67.

I also think Susie is Adam's baby. If I remember correctly Eva believes Aiden must be the father because she and Adam always used contraception and she didn't with Aiden that night after their wedding.

how is Audrey able to chuck Maria out of her flat? ,from being on here i thought landlords had to give a minimum of 8 weeks notice? Also why ish allowed to just let herself in ? again from being on here she cant just let herself in regardless of what the contract says?
