Noticed that the other thread is nearly full, but I don’t know how to set up the link thing on the other one. Help!

Old thread closed x

Oooh - shiny and new. Unlike some of the Neighbours story lines. Haven't they done a shoplifting one before? Lynn, iirc.

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 04/06/2018 14:46

Good skills Middle!

You’re welcome Grin

That does sound like a very Lynn thing to do...

SleepingStandingUp · 04/06/2018 16:50

Checking in at Lassiters

MrsSteveMcDonald · 04/06/2018 17:36

Hello!

WhiteVixen · 04/06/2018 18:01

Hello

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 04/06/2018 19:06

Welcome to Lassiters. Leo will take your bags. If your room is not to your satisfaction Leo will clean it. He doesn’t have authority to upgrade you so there’s no point being nice to him even if he does have dimples.

If you have any complaints you can raise them with Chloe, but she might try to shag you to make the problem go away. If you don’t like tall women who take their fashion inspo from 90s air hostesses this could be problematic.

Also, if it’s you that has booked your wedding in about 3 months time - your booking has been cancelled. The owner’s son has first dibs (he’s like Dimples but much smaller). The Backpackers is probably free if you can work out who is in charge. Or you could have a raw food vegan yoga wedding at The Flametree Retreat.

Enjoy your stay.

Oooh first dibs on the raw food vegan yoga wedding, I'm going to marry Ash from Home and Away but we agreed on a destination wedding to minimise the bad luck of a beach wedding

OutofTyme · 04/06/2018 20:05

What is going on with Chloe and the strange clinic letter? Could she have HIV or something?

MiddleClassProblem · 04/06/2018 20:55

SleepingStandingUp stop bringing your other soapers over here unless they are willing to name change and and have a random sibling.

I doubt they’d do an HIV plot particularly with someone promiscuous. They could give it to Amy at some point but she’s be such a martyr about it. She would not shut up about it even if her meds gave her a long and healthy life.

MiddleClassProblem · 04/06/2018 20:56

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster brilliant post btw

zizza · 04/06/2018 21:33

Apologies if someone's already mentioned it in the previous thread.... But is anyone else irrationally irritated by Stiff (as my husband always says loudly when he sees her) referring to get soon as "my boy" in that strange way?

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 04/06/2018 21:35

I am assuming that Karl will have developed an MS cure by the end of the week. But the hospital will have exploded, due to the sheer excitement of having not one, not two, but THREE doctors all working there at the same time.

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 04/06/2018 22:20

Why thank you Middle

Random fact (which has probably already made it round the H&A threads but no one cool looks there eh Sleeping Wink?) - Raffy from H&A is the real life daughter of Paul Robinson’s nemesis Sue Parker.

Had my first weekend to myself in 9 years. As you can tell, I spent it wisely...

OP posts:
AGnu · 04/06/2018 23:35

I knew that about Raffy! Grin

zizza What drives me more insane is that I catch myself doing it too! I tried to get my hair cut a bit like her style but it's come out more "Amy". I don't actually want to turn into Steph, honest! Blush

SleepingStandingUp · 04/06/2018 23:38

Ooh H&A facts, you rebel

MorningsEleven · 05/06/2018 00:05

Had my first weekend to myself in 9 years

What was it like?

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 05/06/2018 08:41

Middle it was fab. No one had to get their arse out in public to help me cope with the solitude, peace and the chance to watch utter nonsense on TV.

So Amy is suddenly a shoplifter. Hmm. So she walks round wearing stolen object, and confides in Chloe, who she's known only a few weeks.

Lovewineandchocs · 05/06/2018 13:18

But is anyone else irrationally irritated by Stiff (as my husband always says loudly when he sees her) referring to get soon as "my boy" in that strange way?

Well, provided her move to Sydney happens, she’ll only be saying “my boy” onscreen for a couple more days. Apparently it is a running joke with Carla Bonner and the writers that they try to get as many “my boy” references in as possible, due to people picking up on it and commenting on social media and elsewhere.
I’m kind of used to it now, tbh I’ve always found Jimmy’s use of “G-Dad” far more irritating Grin

ScoobyGangMember · 05/06/2018 16:42

Oh god yes. G dad. Thanks for reminding me.

Smidge001 · 05/06/2018 22:24

Please can this thread have no more references to home & away. I find it really confusing. Blush

Totally hate "my boy" references. Almost as much as "little man" (think your mention of Lynn reminded me)

Didn't grandma whatsername (Gary's mum) do some petty thieving too? Or am I mixing them up?

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 05/06/2018 22:31

Don’t mind ‘My boy’ but yeah G-Dad - bleurgh!
