Noticed that the other thread is nearly full, but I don’t know how to set up the link thing on the other one. Help!

MrsPlodds are you a copper with that name? You sound like you did a better job than Mishti Grin

Sleeping I think you have quite w collection. You could have the next pop up shop when ‘airs ov Liz is over.

I feel like when Mishti finds out about the shoplifting (kleptomania - dirty glass ffs) and that Chloe knew she’ll be all “how can I trust you?” About their new friendship and then go on about her own judgment again... literally all she goes on about.

MrsPlodds · 09/06/2018 22:52

Ha no I never saw it like that, I meant I plod along Grin

SleepingStandingUp · 10/06/2018 00:04

The whole I'd like to snog you but my gay mates need to chat to you first is weird.

Chloe I guess is,the only person who'd find the kleptomania funny?

I thought he was, meant to be 12 but dude he's more grown up than him what went to New York with hot Dad

SleepingStandingUp · 10/06/2018 00:04

Jimmy!

AGnu · 10/06/2018 00:39

I've had a revelation about all these extended family members that are never mentioned until they randomly appear. Also ties in with H&A migration. Ramsey Street is actually a hotbed of pretend families for people in witness protection. Paul doesn't really have that many children/extended family, but he's got a deal going with the police that he'll take in random people in witness protection & introduce them as his long-lost child. Ditto Karl & Susan. Possibly also Brad & Lauren. What better way to hide a witness than to have them appear to be part of an established family? Once it's safe, or if their cover is blown, they get some far-fetched dream job in New York/London & disappear never to be mentioned again.

I'm looking forward to the writers stealing this storyline & doing that H&A crossover with Roo coming to find Martha-Elly. Once she realises she's traceable Elly will have to move on to a new pretend family & leave us alone!

SleepingStandingUp · 10/06/2018 00:54

Ooh Raffy could move in with Susan next!

Hygge · 10/06/2018 19:28

What happened to Karl's daughter Holly?

I missed a few episodes and then she vanished (Izzy had already gone, probably to return in a year or so with a baby who may turn out to be Karl's Stolen Sperm Child but knowing Izzy could equally turn out to be a baby she's 'borrowed' for the occasion) but I thought Holly was staying with Karl and Susan.

Then she was gone and it's taken me until now to realise.

Surely Mishti's set up and arrest of Dylan by using a friend who then tampered with evidence would mean his case would be thrown out in court?

MiddleClassProblem · 10/06/2018 19:37

Holly went on a long term exchange programme that only had one place to Japan(?).

Izzy not up the duff. But then she did take the test like 2 days after bug apparently all felt that was an acceptable negative.

Hygge · 10/06/2018 20:38

I know the test said negative but this is Soap Land and Izzy. Anything is possible and I know they will pick a storyline that annoys me the most.

I'd place money on her turning up with a baby / hulking great teenager at some point in the future and announcing to the world that it is the result of the stolen sperm.

I had no idea about the single student Japanese exchange programme but it makes as much sense as anything else.

The return of Whatshisname with Ellie's cloned sister is annoying me now. I don't like his face.

MiddleClassProblem · 10/06/2018 20:59

I think the exchange programme was being organised in one ep, then Karl wouldn’t sign a permission slip, then he did, it was announced that Holly won it and then she was sent away immediately. Probably all a weeks eps.
Standard “oh you could possibly leave” to “bye” time scale 😂

AGnu · 11/06/2018 00:57

Wasn't it Hong Kong that she went to? Same place as Libby, her half sister, but there's definitely no nepotism going on there... They even made a point about it not being because of who she is, she's just so super-duper amazeballs that she can start at one school & instantly be recognised as the most worthy student to be sent on a trip of a lifetime. This is in no way to facilitate her mother getting secretly pregnant & the writers avoiding having to try to convince us that Holly would agree to keep it from Karl. I'm still baffled that Willow hasn't told Toadie that Fake Dee has had his baby - I'm just assuming that's going to happen, what with them having sex once, his lack of fertility & it being the most dramatic/upsetting result of the storyline.

MiddleClassProblem · 11/06/2018 09:11

Ah, yes. At least I got the right continent. I didn’t realise Libby was there. I do zone out when her name is mentioned. She’s not my favourite lol.

gendercritter · 11/06/2018 18:07

It was China, I believe.

EveningHare · 11/06/2018 19:30

Why is Amy hiding clothes????

Put them on your drawers love!!

MiddleClassProblem · 11/06/2018 19:34

EveningHare 😂

Literally the best hiding place, in your own room.

South Korea?

MiddleClassProblem · 11/06/2018 19:37

Wiki says China!!!!

Congratulations, gendercritter, you win a durian fruit!

SleepingStandingUp · 11/06/2018 20:03

Seriously, if she's stole all that from Haus of Elisabeth surely they'd have stopped just pouring stuff on tables outside and having shit shop staff?

Cherrypie32 · 11/06/2018 20:05

Wouldn’t Susan have had a word about Ellie’s get up for school?

scrappydappydoo · 11/06/2018 20:24

And today see another example of how not to dress as a teacher. How does Elly get away with dressing like she's going clubbing??? That blue dress was completely inappropriate for school. I would seriously question the professionalism of one my DC's teachers if they wore that..

SleepingStandingUp · 11/06/2018 20:47

School out isn't it?

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 11/06/2018 22:10

This Amy shoplifting business is total nonsense. How has she gone from upstanding beige judgy-panted wet blanket to a one woman crime wave who takes everything that’s not nailed down in the space of a week? There was so much stuff! And the margarita glass a couple of eps ago? Paul is worried she’s going to drink all his good scotch, but he wants to keep his leg under lock and key or she’ll make off with it and stick it in a filing cabinet at The Yard.

And Finn. Do you think if we all wish hard enough the writers will roll him down the stairs in his fake wheelchair the way they brought in the storyline where Paige took up boxing?

Pleeeeeease!

Clawdy · 11/06/2018 23:15

Yes, Elly's outfit was ridiculous for school wear. Absolutely laughable.

Leafs123 · 12/06/2018 21:45

Watching 👀

CurbsideProphet · 12/06/2018 22:05

I'm really annoyed Finn is back. Wouldn't Xanthe be warned? Why doesn't he have to check in with Probation?

Amy shoplifting is one of the worst filler storylines ever Hmm

I'm still watching though Grin

EveningHare · 13/06/2018 07:07

What a with the Cassius storyline??

I'm not a prude but I don't think it's pleasant that they are objectifying him like this

Can you imagine if Shane has to rush home and shag Dipi because he saw Ellie stretching??
