Thought I'd start a new one as we're not far off and there'll be much to talk about this week, I I fear.

Didn't it start as a ringtone? Then turned into Corrie's reproduction of the music video. How dare they create a neural pathway in my brain between Ian Curtis and Pat Phelan?!!

This is terrible. How come this fails to be gripping in the least? The Phelan scenes are awful.

@LoveMySituation - we've just had a conversation about the back of Pat's head.

DS said he didn't know that Pat had a scar and that started a conversation about how he's been hit on the back of his head so often it should be concave.

We could have done with a handy guide.

I thought Nicola's dad was called Isaac, which was shortened to Zac? Where has Zacharias come from?

Better in his head to ignore the name Nicola has chosen in favour of a similar one that's nothing to do with her real Dad.

How is Anna out of prison? Surely Daniel's SPEW campaign didn't actually work?

Totally agree!! I’m so bored watching pat phelan look menacing... again. They’re flogging a dead horse. I’m not going to post what I assume has happened as I don’t want to ruin it for anyone else but urgh.

I think it’ll be Eileen. I wonder what would happen with the ever revolving lodgers that go through her house it she does die.

David was excellent, and it's a shame that scene with his mum and grandma wasn't part of a better episode, or one that focussed on his storyline.

I think it'll be Pat that's dead.
He's either shot himself on purpose/by accident or one of the others grabbed the gun and killed him.

Pat Phelan lives in my city in real life (Plymouth) and I won't lie I'd probably shit my pants if I saw him in person!

But they definitely need to put an end to that character now - I'm guessing it'll be by death rather than by trial though!

I think it’s really shit that they’ve run David’s storyline alongside this phelan crap. David’s is a really fucking important story. It’s deserves to be the only “big” story whilst it’s running. Instead of being continually interrupted with this bollocks that everyone is fed up with.

Completely agree Zibbidoo. Especially that stupid Rosie drugs storyline - I made a cup of tea during those scenes. Can't even be bothered to work out what was going on.

I feel the same, Zibbiddoo, it totally undermines David's excellent storyline and performance. All this nonsense is annoying and an insult to the viewers.
