How long will Joe and Robert play the one upmanship game, its tedious beyond belief.

Has Lisa gone for good and if she has I wouldn't blame her.

Will Chas and Paddy last as long as this thread, I'd be very surprised.

Moses is adorable

Bob laying down rules about Brenda not having men friends at her house whilst his kids were there - what a cheek!! Laurel's treatment of Heath and Cathy wanting rid of them is heartless.

HettySunshine · 19/06/2018 19:58

Who dat?!

JaneJeffer · 19/06/2018 20:16

I could have done without all the Dan/Daz close-ups.

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 19/06/2018 20:34

I still don’t give a toss about amelia. Literally couldn’t care less.

I did find the doctor speaking to Chas and Paddy unbearably sad. I may need to not watch next few weeks as I’m finding the storyline just too tough, too sad. Fair do’s to Emmerdale for tackling a heatedly spoken about subject head on.

southeastdweller · 19/06/2018 20:58

I just hope this Amelia tedium doesn't drag on for too much longer.

Diane was a bitch to Doug tonight in the Woolpack. I wouldn't have hesitated to tell her to F off I was Doug!

carben · 19/06/2018 21:18

So the Margarita storyline is heading towards her becoming a heart donor for Sarah I reckon. If the baby is born at term she will be a suitable donor and this will give her life 'meaning' and her heart will go on and on as Celina Dion would say. Just my guess.

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 19/06/2018 21:20

Laurel doesn’t really have a ‘type’ does she? Her love life always seems unbelievable, I know I felt the same when she was having an affair with Marlon. She wasn’t his type either.

kikashi · 19/06/2018 21:53

When Laurel was first in Emmerdale wasn't she really daft and scatty and wore "quirky" clothes. I seem to remember Nicola (her business partner in a cleaning business) treating her as if she was the village idiot? Marlon should be no one's type.

AhWeCanDanceIfWeWantTo · 19/06/2018 21:57

I was a bit shocked at just how cruel Diane was being to Doug. I know he’s a pillock but that was horrible. In front of everyone. And no-one called her on it!

Amelia/dan/Daz -YAWN!! Next storyline please.

Laurel/bob is ridiculous. Can just imagine the MN thread. “I’ve been sleeping with my deceased husband’s married best friend and it’s all been uncovered a few weeks ago. His wife has kicked him out so ive moved him and his twins in with my two DC. Kids are kicking off and he’s making silly jokes and is obviously still thinking about his wife. Any advice?”

AhWeCanDanceIfWeWantTo · 19/06/2018 21:58

Laurel was dressed as a bumble bee when she first arrived I think Grin

JaneJeffer · 19/06/2018 22:00

Marlon and Tricia were lovely together. It was awful when she died, so sad. I don't think anyone else has suited Marlon since.

bonfireheart · 19/06/2018 22:03

Benton's colleague is as awful as him, Daz needs to get himself a solicitor asap. I think the storyline is going in circles now and the holes in the storyline are huge.

bonfireheart · 19/06/2018 22:04

Also am rather amazed at how quickly Paddy and chas manage do get hospital appointments whenever they want them.

JaneJeffer · 19/06/2018 22:10

The bloke having the meeting with Priya looked like someone who would have sold fax paper in the 80's.

southeastdweller · 19/06/2018 22:13

Yes. What kind of businessman has a ponytail these days?

kikashi · 19/06/2018 22:35

It's soapland NHS where everyone has a private room and immediate treatment.

Yes, what IS Diane's problem? She's continually being a complete bitch. She apologised the other day but keeps doing it. They have made her so bitter, she was never like this before, seems out of character.

The one thing I want to say about the paddy and chas storyline is that I don't agree with how much they keep chas saying they are doing the best for marguerita by carrying her to term. She says it so often that it's their responsibility as parents etc etc. But I feel it's getting a bit propaganda like. There must be plenty of people out there who need to decide termination is the right thing to do. In fact I think as a parent, protecting the baby in this situation is probably not letting it struggle on. No matter how hard that would be. I just feel the writers should be more responsible to give both sides of the argument more, whichever way they want the story to turn out.

Could not care less about amelia. Think kerry is doing hreally well in her scenes though. Just wish they'd bring back any now kerry is a brilliant mother and trustworthy reliable person who has half custody? Of Amy's baby, along with the father. And the woman she tried to abduct him from is dead! For gods sake writers, please at leadt explain why amy can't come back!
Ditto Andy, (not that I want him to return)

Smidge001 · 19/06/2018 22:37

'Amy' Not any.

JaneJeffer · 19/06/2018 22:44

I agree Smidge. They need to show that's it's her choice for herself but it may not be what's best for someone else.

I don't like Kerry and would prefer if she went off to join Amy.

LoveMySituation · 19/06/2018 22:45

Can't be bothered to watch atm. Too many tedious storylines / not enough Robron. Have I missed 'owt?!

JaneJeffer · 19/06/2018 22:48

There's never enough Robron for me Love

kikashi · 19/06/2018 22:52

Amy is never mentioned. If the original actress is happy in Casualty they could always bring the character back with a new head (as they did for Robert). Amy risked everything to try to have her baby with her so why would she never visit or come back especially as Cain was so abusive to her - would you really leave your child with him?- I agree it's a bit strange.

LoveMySituation · 19/06/2018 22:58

Yeah Jane, I miss the days when they were in the barn every five minutes Grin

AhWeCanDanceIfWeWantTo · 20/06/2018 09:16

I agree. And actually (personal opinion) I think they’re totally deluded if they think being born to suffer and die is better for this baby than allowing her to pass now. They could choose to save her having all that pain.

AhWeCanDanceIfWeWantTo · 20/06/2018 09:21

Yes it’s summer now. Surely it’s time for Ross and Robert to be frolicking topless somewhere? Grin
