I think that whoever abducted Amelia will be something to do with the man Daz killed doing it to get back at him. His daughter or something. Hence the username in the chat room.

A few months ago Daz appeared on some celebrity hairdresser show where he had his hair dyed multicoloured. I bet whoever has Amelia tracked him down from that.

I can’t take Duncan Preston seriously as Doug, he was always so funny in DinnerLadies, and lots of Victoria Wood’s work, he is impossible to see in a dramatic role.

Paddy and Chas naming their child after a pizza is terrible, as is the storyline.

She's named after a cocktail because they were going to Mexico until Chas realised she was pregnant.

Just catching up and think the way Doug was spoken to was vile. Yes he's a drip but no one deserves to be treated like that. If that was a bloke speaking to a woman like that there would be all sorts of abuse claims. yes I know it's not real

Diane was awful, why on earth does Doug keep going back for more?

It would be ironic if Doug and Brenda got together properly and Laurel and Bob split up because Bob was jealous.

The fight was a bit ridiculous, but I'm sure Laurel shoved Brenda first and then claimed that Brenda attacked her first.

I think Doug and Brenda would be good together.

I used to love Zach but when he arrived back tonight I realised I hadn't even noticed he was gone, wonder will Lisa come back.

So Belle has an offer of work/training away from emmerdale, won't Lachlan be thrilled with that

When we were watching the previous episode I was all ready to give DD10 a lecture about stranger danger and oh look what's happened to Amelia.
Then they cut to her sat on sofa scoffing crisps and DD said "well she looks like she's having the time of her life!"

Does anyone else think it’s weird that Diane is suddenly mentioning Jack all the time? She hasn’t mentioned his name for years and now all of a sudden it’s every single episode. She’s had a complete personality transplant. It’s horrible.

I agree zib. Complete personality transplant. And she used to complain about Jack plenty of times too. He was stubborn and inattentive from what I remember, only having eyes for the farm.

I am SO uninterested in the amelia storyline. If I wasn't watching live, I'd have fast forwarded all those bits.

Diane cheated on jack and also slept with Eric behind vals back - she's hardly innocent herself. Her character is making uncomfortable viewing lately

I want Doug and Brenda to get married. Then Brenda will be Laurel's step mother and Bob's mother in law! And they can all live in the same house together.

Harriet is having a bit of a glamour makeover of late - softer and lighter hair colour, new brown/copper toned makeup, a side parting - will she ditch her ripped knee jeans and biker jacket?

This Amelia storyline is just highlighting what terrible actors the men who play Dan and Daz are, particularly compared to how good Kerry and Bernice are. Dan with his supposed distress and worry is just coming across as shouty: he can't do anguish to save his life. Him and Daz are highly irritating every time they're on screen - the producers/writers must be kicking themselves they didn't stick to low level comedy with Dan.

Millie I was just about to post exactly the same. Those two men are awful actors and this storyline is wasted on them. I think that’s probably why none of us are bothered about it .

Where will Doug live now - with Laurel and Bob??
I'm glad Bernice has split from Daz - he's just grim (as is the actor)
