I'd like Mary (the one who cooked hearty fare and looked like she ran a bawdy house) who was kicked out about three weeks ago to win.

I was so disappointed Saliha won last year

One trick pony

Felt she was doing it as another feather in her cap with no intention of making a career in food

And found her super smug & annoying

She has some nice recipes on her website. DH working late and DD is refusing to sleep so I’ll be watching on delay

To be fair most of the contestants are one trick ponies in that they generally stick to whatever style of food it is they personally favour.

If I remember correctly Saliha was doing a medical residency, had a husband, a young child and was clearly cooking in all her spare time. So clearly super capable and ambitious, but it jarred with her slightly princessy air. Although I'm trying to remember who she was up against and I can't remember!

Ooh, yes, I too was a bit narked that Saliha won. Steve cooked such pretty things, and I loved Giovanna.

I am also uncertain who I'd like to win of the final four. Possibly Alex. Have very much warmed to Death Pilot David, though.
