It was completely ridiculous.

As if Agatha Christie would end a story in such a petty tyranny.

As if any screenwriter could improve an Agatha Christie plot.

I've been looking forward to The Woman in White. I really hope they don't fuck this one up.

Yes I saw the Crooked House adaptation. It was quite faithful to the book I thought.

Rosemary

me too. I love TWIW. Writer is Fiona Seres, I've never heard of her.

Fiona Seres adapted The Lady Vanishes for the BBC a few years ago, did anyone see it? I might catch it on Netflix.

Just seen the casting for The ABC Murders - John Malkovich as Poirot! And Rupert Grint also, I assume as Cust though he is too young. Malkovich could either be completely awesome or fucking terrible, I can't decide...

Found better article, Grint is Inspector Crome. Hmm. He's such a bad actor ( or at least he was in HP, maybe he's improved?)

MiddleMoffat · 10/06/2018 23:46

Just caught up. Totally bloody ruined it, why the fuck the screenwriter thinks she is BETTER than Agatha Christie is beyond me and for the BBC to believe her..... next time, just tell her to fuck off and do a faithful adaption, you know, the ones which sell millions of books.

Just checked Amazon. Hmmmm no fucking amazing crime plots written by you Sarah Philips so leave our Agatha ALONE.

Don't even get me started on the TRAVESTY of David fucking Walliams in Partners in Crime. Who in their right mind would marry that wisahwashy asexual knob? Not Tuppence for sure.

ABC Murders

Piers Wenger, Controller of BBC Drama, says: "Over the last three years Sarah has breathed new life into some of Agatha Christie’s most renowned crime stories'

Piers Wanker more like....they don't need a new life, they are masterpieces in their own right.
