Is it just me or is anyone else really excited to watch this tonight?

So glad they reshot this so we can enjoy it Smile

Me! Perfect Sunday tv.

viques · 01/04/2018 19:22

fingers crossed! They can make Christie stuff very mannered and stiff, I haven't seen any trailers so hoping they haven't fallen into that trap.

buddhasbelly · 01/04/2018 19:23

Deinitely @BringMeTea planning on some Easter egg and a cuppa for this.

Loved the last BBC adaptation a few Christmases ago, "And Then There Were None"

It's got good reviews @Viques so here's hoping!

I've set the TV to record it. I may not get to watch it tonight as we're meeting up with family.

CorvusUmbranox · 01/04/2018 20:17

Did not know this was on so Flowers for you, OP. nothing better than an agonisingly slow Agatha Christie adaption to while away a lazy bank holiday Monday. Thank you!

buddhasbelly · 01/04/2018 20:19

@Taytocrisps that is good forward planning and an even better choice of crisp!

@CorvusUmbranox you're welcome, agreed it's perfect Sunday viewing!

buddhasbelly · 01/04/2018 20:23

Oh I've not seen that @MrsJoshDun there's the rest of my weeks viewing sorted!

JiltedJohnsJulie · 01/04/2018 20:35

IM looking forward to watching it too. Perfect Easter Sunday telly. Have got the Wine out in anticipation Smile

SpringNowPlease2018 · 01/04/2018 20:37

Imagine something as good as "and then there were none".

Too high a bar? Grin

Diorissimo1985 · 01/04/2018 20:37

I'm excited too - And Then There Were None is on iplayer at the moment and I've recently re-watched.
What an Easter treat Grin

buddhasbelly · 01/04/2018 20:38

Let's hope not!

OP posts:
ellenanora5 · 01/04/2018 20:40

Yep I'm recording it so might wait until I can watch them all together, I did that with "And then there were none "

JiltedJohnsJulie · 01/04/2018 21:03

And I’ve got half an Easter Egg left. Not sure I can cope with the excitement! Grin

SpringNowPlease2018 · 01/04/2018 21:08

Ive just realised it's not on three nights in a row
So I'm recording it and will watch them together.

I'm sure previously they ran them consecutive nights....

buddhasbelly · 01/04/2018 21:10

Loving it so far! Oh I thought it would be in consecutive nights

OP posts:
JiltedJohnsJulie · 01/04/2018 21:19

Given up on it already. DD has an awful cold and I’ve just spent the first 10 mins with her. Will have to watch it on the iplayer another night. With how rough she looks I don’t think it will e long before she shouts me again.

MrsJoshDun · 01/04/2018 21:24

No idea what’s happening already.

Lobsterquadrille2 · 01/04/2018 21:36

I'm liking it!

buddhasbelly · 01/04/2018 22:00

I thought it was really good! Looking forward to the next episode!

viques · 01/04/2018 22:03

I know I've read this, but thankfully can't remember what happens. Great stuff, Bill Nighy is my all time you bet I would in a flash actor
( Blush).

viques · 01/04/2018 22:05

Meant to say enough red herrings to fill a kipper factory already, just as there should be.

I know who didn't do it though, no one who reads John Wyndham could be a murderer . fact.

youngestisapsycho · 01/04/2018 22:05

Was that the new wife to be in the house on the night of the murder?

PinkBuffalo · 01/04/2018 22:07

I was lost in the beginning, but enjoyed it by the end.
Haven't read this one, which might be why I found it hard to follow
