Considering how reticent Home and Away are re gay relationships, its good Neighbours are so in your face. Tiny T actor certainly goes with gusto. A wedding would be cool considering the fairly recent law change in Aus but just not to Tiny!!

I have to admit that part of me thinks that David and Aaron are all kinds of cute together but I think it is because the actor that plays Tiny definitely commits to his character (including his sexuality) a lot more then any of the previous male actors in neighbours who were playing gay characters. I think he’s really pushed what they are willing to show. Problem is that he’s a 30 year old doctor and they’ve written him as a needy whiny borderline stalker-child who lives with his weird family.

They write it all like it is romance of the year, but when you look at the actuality David is just a bit creepy. Mind you Aaron is way too nice and bland and meh. I can’t remember when he last had an opinion that wasn’t Tiny-related. He and Piper need an actual storyline that isn’t just them mooning over some bloke!

I don’t mind them together but that’s because I find Aaron cheesy and a bit dumb and TT is a try hard and needy. Neither is overtly negative or judgy etc. But after seeing TT’s furry ears the other day I realise that he’s not made from wood and is just a little bush baby or such I think it’s endeared me to him. Puppets are creepy, animals are cute.

Also I couldn’t work out how Aaron seemed as clueless as the viewers about what had happened after he snogged David. Are we supposed to believe that he plucked up the courage to go round and ask him to try again, massively snogged his face off and then left without any further discussion?

Surely they would actually either have a) shagged like rabbits, or b) had a big D and M about getting back together?

I can’t remember Troy renovating that house. Can anyone else? Did he live there or was he working for someone who lived there? When toadie first said ‘Sonya’s ex’ I was thinking who on Earth was sonya’s ex!? I do remember Troy but can’t place him living on the street - or has my memory failed me? The way they talked so cheerfully about him and his renovations was a bit weird, wasn’t he a weird stalker who died? You think they’d be a bit solemn and reluctant to talk about him and especially to Callum, they just dropped him a casual email about it! But then I guess this is neighbours and people don’t tend to have dark thoughts!

I’m not up to date atm but I can confirm Troy was an abusive psycho to both Sonya and Jade. Dieter Brummer is also an example of someone who was a teen pin up but now looks like a man you avoid on a pub.

The other day Jane was talking to Kirsha about the house renovations in their house and toadie overheard them talking and said all cheerfully ‘sonya’s ex did the renovations, pop over and chat to her about it if you want’. So Jane went to over to sonya’s and quizzed her about it. Sonya didn’t look remotely upset about being asked about her abusive dead ex. She then casually emailed Callum to ask if he knew anything about his abusive dead dad’s house renovations .

Yeah wasn’t there some suggestion that Sonya was responsible for killing him at one point? And didn’t he hold them all hostage?

What lovely family memories. Who wouldn’t want to chat about them with Jane and her mysterious spade of doom?

I missed a few episodes a few weeks back.. so amy was walking around in boots, denim shirts and checked shirts with hair slicked back in a pony tail.. started watching again and she’s wearing short dresses with short perfectly styled hair.. did they explain this transformation? Is she no longer a builder?
Also, I’ve been sensing a bit of chemistry between Gary and Steph, they have a sweet relationship, he helped her when she was down about jack with the sage wafting or whatever it was and she has been giving him advice about Terese. I wonder if they will get it on?
