No way is Duncan the murderer, he's been in all the Shetland novels as a regular character. Very odd if they decide to go with that storyline.

I’m still wondering who Alan’s dad is? Irish retired policeman? Could Sally have found out? Then she would have been dating her biological half brother though so maybe not

DH is absolutely gorgeous, he gets better every week. I think Molly’s Mum killed her twin sister - see how I. Ant remember her name, that’s how insignificant she must have felt. Duncan is Alan Killick’s father, possibly Molly’s too. I don’t think Malone is the killer in any of the murders. He’s just odd so I feel sorry for him.

I no longer have any clue whodunnit so roll on next week. I am glad that Lars did indeed turn out to be a baddie and that Sandy finally did something right by getting back to the ward in time!
I liked Jimmys reaction to the major incident team as “people who think we knit jumpers”.

I dont like when these kinda programs mess with the core characters. Duncan is supposed to be a side story

I was wondering why APMum was discussing her dear husband on the thread. I wondered had she wandered in to the wrong thread and should have been in Relationships.
I also thought that it was nice for her to think that and hoped the feeling would last.
Then I realised DH was Dougie Henshall and not her DH

I think:
Duncan is Alan's father. Alans mum is just trying to keep him and Cassie apart.

Twin killed Lizzie. Malone took the fall because he was in love with her (both?).

Alan killed his girlfriend because he was jealous?

Or maybe it has been Malone all this time.

I'm still running behind, but just saw the ep set mostly in Norway. It was quite astonishing, most of the Norwegian actors looked like smooth-faced, perfect-complexioned supermodels, and DH looked more weatherbeaten and baggy-eyed and scruffily-dressed than ever - and still DH was the most attractive person in any room he was in. Good lord. I was expecting to fall in love with the scenery, not with Perez! He's so sad and pretty.
