we weren't sure if she killed /tried to kill henry with a bag over his head

but we had proof it was him due to the bite mark on his shoulder

Writers take note - if viewers want answers because you failed to deliver them your show is pretty shit.

I've just realised I can't remember what happened to the carer for the young man in the 'home' the one who was spelling out letters. She had a baby and lived with her brother.

She was a key/central character and then I can remember her turning up at work and being led away by one of the many, many blonde women - perhaps Marcella's ex-husband's new partner???

Her brother then arrived later and started shooting the joint up.

But what happened to her? Did the police even register she was missing and of any value?

I can't remember her name.

That's the effect of Marcella - it wipes your rational mind.

Futuristic-I think she ended up in the Thames

The nutty midwife killed Gail and told Marcella that she was in the Thames . She said it very clearly

Rebecca I thought that too as in for example 'The Queen Mum' (why didn't we all say the Queen's mum?)

I enjoyed that last episode while I was watching it. But afterwards I thought HANG ON, so Jason still got away with commissioning a murder?

And no mention of the boy who'd escaped - I wanted to know how he'd turned out!

The Radio Times said Becky was a good character in the series but that wasn't clear at all. I still thought she'd been involved after I'd watched the last episode, but she hadn't been caught.
Also handsome and conscientious detective Rav, did he wake up okay after the bonk on the head?

yup, was going to put 'arsed' but thought it might come across as a bit arsy, ha ha that happened anyway. Having said that though I have had kids say I can't be asked, if they said arsed, it wouldn't bode well for them.

The brother told her Joel was communicating, when he was brought into the station after firing the gun at the doc.

blondes means how did the killer know that Gail knew about her brother communicating and she has a good point. I guess we are supposed to assume the manager did tell her but that did seem a hastily resolved thread and the blonde gf does not make sense in all of this since it was her who waylaid Gail.

Stupid bloody programme. And I knew that before this series and Is still watched it. I only caught up last night so had to avoid this thread : glad it wasn't just me that thought it was bollocks.

I knew the man at the end was going to be important as soon as I saw it was Hugo Speer, so guessing he'll be in next series then.

They could have all just waited for the boy to wake up from his coma and saved an awful lot of hassle all round.

The only character I like is Rav and if he is not OK, I will slice Marcella's other cheek for her.

Can't really remember but Did Gail contact Joel's family (at the time we didn't know it was Samantha's mum) to tell them that he was starting to communicate?

Or actually I think the manager said to Gail that she'd contacted the family and they didn't want her to continue trying so maybe that's how?

So many pointless connections. Why bother making the step-mum the therapist of the boy in the home? No reason at all other than to make it seem even less plausible. It added nothing to the storyline!
