Has everyone forgotten that Max blackmailed Steven into setting the fire in the restaurant and left Jane to die in the flames? Also accidentally killing Steven in the process. He said some pretty vile things to Abi when he discovered Steven was the father of the baby. All the self-pity is v unattractive.

Lois - Denny was in the caff with Sharon and Pearl was being looked after by Karen. She's just fed something sparkly into the DVD player which will probably lead to K being accused of stealing.

I'm still baffled about why Vincent supposedly 'owes' Aidan anything. I vaguely remember some kind of bust-up occurring around the heist, but it seems a bit OTT to be handing over his livelihood. But then I didn't get why Sharon would fall for Mel's transparent tactics like a gullible 7-year-old and blurt out that she had the money all along, so there.
Somebody explain why I'm expecting things to make sense.

Pearl put a piece of jewellery in the DVD player while Karen was looking after her ( and not at work in the launderette!) so shes been in it a few times last week. Brief shot of Denny back from football practice in the cafe with Will. No sign of Ollie for months or Jacks kids or Ingrid.

It looked like the ring Kim said to sell as they are brasic.

Well they have shown us that Tanya is out of the picture regarding baby Abi now as she is not coping herself. Max was a crap Dad even before he went to prison. I wonder if Stacey and Max will try to bring up the baby together? Or will Ingrid take over the care of the new baby too?

Ingrid should open a creche. She would clean up.
Mas could provide food - billy could be the cleaner. Kim could help out- karen could do the laundry.

Would Max get financial compensation from being wrongly convicted? I’m puzzled as to how he is managing. I know he is sleeping on Jack’s sofa but he is drinking a lot, putting petrol in his car etc? I suppose he had a salary (as well as the big payout that he burned) from working in Weylands? Who is paying for the funeral?

Hope babyblondes is doing better, Blondes. I well remember the sleepless nights with dd and bronchiolitis, as a baby, 20 years ago. Horrible, but they grow out of it quickly.

As pp said the scene with Lauren walking off with Louis at the end was just like The Third Man. Expected to hear the zither start up! If you were Josh, btw, wouldn't you have at least called after Lauren? And wouldn't all her stuff have been in the roof box???

Considering that Lauren hasn't long had a very bad injury herself and still on crutches, she could have at least called herself a cab to get away! ( or asked Tanya for help , or even Cora)
