Lauren’s make up was lovely as she wandered off into the sunset to begin an independent life (an unemployed single parent who was hugely attracted to Josh before the day of Abi’s funeral and who could have stayed with Ian or her mum until she at least had organised accommodation for her and her baby and who surely needed something her suitcases that she had packed her life into when planning a permanent move just hours before). Still, it was poignant and a good episode. I will miss Abi’s character (have done since she died as she was probably my favourite character in the show. Really hoped she would somehow survive. Still Kathy showed us how it’s possible to return from the dead so who knows..)

Yes why suddenly introduce a storyline which says that Lauren doesn't really like Josh? She spent months wishing she could be with him. This sort of thing annoys me it's such bad continuity.

Well if she hasn't been killed off the character could come back in the future but probably not for years.

Maybe Josh is going to become a regular character?

Lauren said she was leaving. She told whit she needed to get out of Walford and shot suggested she needed to do it alone and not with Josh. As she was going to Scotland and then the scene was her walking off into the distance the assumption is she's gone! (Especially as she had the sad music!)

I actually think EE did well there with that storyline - plenty of people don't think they are strong enough to be alone and go from partner to partner because they are nice enough and care about them.

I actually feel sorry for Max. Tanya wasn't perfect on there relationship either - they were a bad combination. But he knows what he did wrong and the line "this time I'm going to get it right" had me sobbing.

It’s lack of conversation over BA (baby abi) Max hasn’t seen or talked to Tanya yet no family discussion has been made over future baby. Ideally Tanya or Lauren or even Cora! Or Jack before Max. He’s copes kids fine ok with help of nanny.

I agree south - I thought everyone was good actually for once, even enjoyed the twitney and Lauren scenes and twitney and halfway stuff, liked that Jay let max have his goodbye. When Tanya was saying about abi not liking the dark and being in a dark box on her own I was destroyed . I guessed that Lauren's scenes with Whitney and Tanya were building up to her going without josh but not sure why she didn't ask someone for a lift back from the crematorium - she wasn't exactly geared up for a long hike with her walking stick and toddler, but I guess it was nice and poignant so hey ho!

Totally agree soupdragon. He's lost his daughter and all because he was having a MH crisis. His MJ crisis was caused by being banged up for a murder he didn't commit. Stitched up by people who he thought cared and loved for him. He hit a dark place. I think with Stacey he goes back there because she's vulnerable and needs him - and he wants to be needed. Hence why he's taking on Baby Abi. He knows he's had a terrible rap sheet - but that doesn't mean he likes what he's done or cannot accept he's been wrong.

Plus for EE standards he's pretty clean

At Christmas I think I said there was surely no way for the character of Max to come back from the whole Weyland thing. I think this is the way so I was wrong!

Max and jack can start up some kind of society for men raising motherless children I guess, someone should warn the nanny tho, max likes blondes and him and jack have form for having the same taste in women! Tanya, Roxy etc

'The motherless society for soap children' - cupboards come for free and Ingrid is available for camping trips to the park at the back of the council estate. School runs will be done by Sharon and Honey - make sure Auntie Tina isnt about driving anywhere though and mas can feed them left over samoas for tea.
