That was the cleanest birth ever wasnt it? no sign of any blood or nasty stuff at all anywhere! she went from a twinge to 10 cm in no time at all , good going for a first baby! i love how Mick just accepted it all, my dh would have gone mad - ' who is she and get to her to hospital quickly' -
all that so we can keep being told what a bad mum Tina is - when shirley has been a lot worse in the past.

Fast births like that do happen, even for first babies. Not for me though.

Clean births? Well, I did have one of those but that’s because it was in a pool so she came out ready washed 😂

Yes onl in EE does the first twinge mean ambulance. I hate the way everyone says well done to the accidentally person who just holds baby at the end. I would be livid if I just pushed a baby out and someone who wrapped it in towel gets bloody credit!!!!

stockport syndrome, that was funny. bit more humour, esp now we probably have weeks and months of Aidan running the show. will his mate Phil turn on him or become best buddies to stay on side?

Glad that Bernie isnt going to give up the chess. shes an odd one, but lets hope she becomes school champ and they all take it up. that last bit won;t happen.

So, Kim will be poor and they will lose the house i suppose.
Will they go and live with Patrick or reopen the B and B - ( can they do that even?) where will they go?
the girl with the baby is annoying me, so i hope she doesnt hang around.
the drugs story isn't good and Aidan now running the manor is bad news - i was hoping he had disappeared for ever, but no.
Hayley is not Martin's type, but she may reel him in as he is feeling rejected.
Keegan has the hots for Louise, he hasnt got any chance there at all -
i see a triangle with Tiff and Hunter and her on the cards maybe?
I bet Mel will appear again and maybe Phil? he has been gone a while so must be back soon.
its not been good this week really. not on tonight. lets hope things improve by next week.

The drugs storyline is rubbish, that kind of drug dealing/ lord of the manor rubbish died out with the Krays.

My labour with Dd was that quick, I phoned the hospital to say I was coming in, they laughed & said call back in about 12 hours (first baby) I went anyway & Dd was born 20 minutes after I got there. I didn’t even have time to get any good drugs!

You were lucky for a first child Nancy! I was like that with ds2. It’s scary when it’s fast.

Ds was my first and only. 48 hours after I started labour they went in and for him!
I was 1 comm, contracting every 30 seconds and apparently he was in distress.

Whereas I was obviously calm and collected and loving every moment HmmGrin

Will add he was born abroad in a country where they don't give drugs 🙈

Youare- all that without drugs? Your a heroine of mine! Best bit was the gas and air - got through loads. Such a great high! All legal too. Lol. A country without pain relief in childbirth should not exist.

I really feel like I lucked out with the pain relief you know? I had pethidine first time around which had the fabulous effect of knocking me out between contractions so all I was aware of was constant contractions (don't think that was much fun for dh) I did then get a lovely epidural although it took 4 attempts to get it in, second time round couldn't feel any effect from tens machine (are they still a thing?) or gas and air and then my epidural only worked on one side of my body which was fun ......

We can dish out the drugs Monday night! I try to do an exercise class on Monday - I need oxygen after that on the walk home. #notfit
