Just out of interest, how many times has anyone reading this attended a wedding that didn't actually go ahead? I know it makes for dramatic viewing and all that, but in soap weddings this happens every single time. It was only a few months ago that the bride ended up in a fountain (although admittedly the "other" wedding in the double event actually did happen!)

Perhaps the cars conveniently fit in the backyard outhouse in a similar way to the elastic walls and bedrooms in the houses

crazycat that's just what I was thinking, so very sadly I went on-line to check. Manchester specials have uniform provided, a boot allowance, travel expenses and a refreshment allowance. Must do at least 4 hours a week, but no upper limit.
