Come on Corrie writers! Get a grip! This is the thread to moan about the utter tosh that we end up watching, or in some cases to praise the actors because some of them are actually pretty good! Let's discuss!

I’m so sad about how shit Corrie is at the moment. It used to be absolutely marvellous. Remember when Natalie and Des Barnes’s affair was uncovered? When Vera died?

Reg Holdsworth? Fred Elliot? Great characters to whom not much happened but so great to watch.

Even not so long ago when Kevin had the affair with Molly I remember some great dramatic tension.

I’m sticking with it in the vain hope that it will improve but I can’t see it happening soon. I’ve been watching Corrie form30 years. I can’t countenance giving up now.

Has the penny finally dropped with Eileen, she's going to visit Anna presumably to ask her about all the things she's never believed before.

Alya is a dreadful actress.

I was asking my mum today how long have I been watching Corrie and she remembers watching it with me when Ernest was killed, she was watching before that, and she agrees with everyone, it's never been this bad, she watches out of habit and doesn't want to give up.

I think a lot of us do the same and with the hope it will get better.

Thought tonight was better, though sad that when everyone else has died/murdered/ fell off balcony/ stabbed that no street Vigel for them!

Who’s underwear was that do we think? Will Craig get all possessive and think she’s seeing someone else?

Glad Seb has excaped for now, hopefully Eileen can see reason why people are leaving. Maybe she can bump HIM off!

I hope they're not going to make her a lesbian- I can see why they'd go down that route- she might he turned off men physically for good due to the abuse...

But the lesbian storyline is SO OLD. They've done it (and are still doing a storyline about it now!) so many bloody times.

A few weeks ago didn't Luke find one of Andy's houses in the cab officer with Eileen? I wonder weather she'll put 2 and 2 together.

At first I wondered if Bemthany had been to see Nathan but then i thought. They wouldn't do that. Surely? Hmm

I thought that Bethany was cheating, but that would be out of character. She seems like the type who'd finish with Craig if she'd met someone else, especially having witnessed her mum's recent pain over Gary. I think it might be prostitution/call girl.

I thought that Samia Ghadie looked unwell. I hope she's ok and that it was just a bad cold or something.

I think that Eileen will go to the police having spoken to Anna, and will drop the assault charge against her as well as reporting Pat. I also have a feeling that Nicola will reappear.

Re: styling, I saw Dev in Wood Green Sainsburys local not long ago. I can report that he was wearing a brown, pleather jacket, so maybe it's the actor's choices...
