Come on Corrie writers! Get a grip! This is the thread to moan about the utter tosh that we end up watching, or in some cases to praise the actors because some of them are actually pretty good! Let's discuss!

Guessing the to smooth to be believed story line with Toyah and baby means there be some dramatic end and no baby. Then maybe EVas?

Mind you Sarah Platt seems manage ok single parent with baby working couple shifts week in pub and not short of cash!

@Kikashi I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday. We saw people going to a polling station and walking along other streets. You never see anyone going anywhere else on Corrie now unless it is to murder or be murdered.

The difference between classic Corrie and now, is that we don’t really care about the characters now. In the classic episodes, the viewers care about Alf and his heart attack, Terry and his affair, and Bet’s disappearance. I don’t care about any character now, and only watch out of habit.

Sunshine there's a big difference though between saying something you think will happen just because it looks like a storyline MIGHT go that way or saying you think it'll happen because of something you saw online. There's a huge difference

To me that’s a potential spoiler though. Ok it could relate to few story line but often if one big story line in making or someones on death door, then posting about a picture on forum or magazine, in thy case someone crying when there two reasons why she might be crying lately is a spoiler to me. As I may put two and two together about what will happen. Does that make sense?

Scrabbler - they brought bet lynch back a few years ago and she was a disaster. She left/ got kicked off - stories about tension with younger actors who wouldn’t bow down to her diva demands and her poor acting, even compared to current lot

Surely the doctor would do exam and be able to say your more near 7weeks than 7months. Is she saying she hasn’t missed period at all?

Just caught up with Fri & Mondays Corrie. Bit puzzled to see Anna saying that she thought things would be ok to Faye & shed be home and everything would be normal again

Has she forgotten that she's facing charges of escaping from custody & assaulting Eileen. Surely even if she's found not guilty of the Seb situation she's not going to be getting released from prison anytime soon

Or will the writers have forgotten about those charges

So Eva gave, as her complete medical history, the story of her faked pregnancy. But omitted date of last period. Okaaaay.

They might as well build a hospital and police station on Coronation Street and be done with it!

It was odd that having faked the pregnancy, so presumably knowing at least some symptoms in order to fake them, Eva says to Shona she doesn't know what her (obvious) symptoms are. Then today, she tells the Dr she's had no symptoms

The fake pregnancy came up because the doctor asked why she'd been booked in for a scan but didn't attend.

Not going to early scan is a miscarriage? Not every one would visit hospital if it was very early.
