I'm watching it on +1. I loved Mary & Tracy singing I Know Him so Well. I was willing Mary to join in. (Throwback to one of my favourite Not Going Out episodes). Tracy has a good voice.

The Susan Barlow story is just re-writing history, which is so annoying for those of us who remember the actual plot.

The Susan Barlow thing has the potential to be a good story line, but I just know they are going to balls it up.

Also, still feeling that Andy-in-the-cellar just get shot was a waste of something.

Loved the comedy tonight, was actual hand over mouth about last bit! To far back for me but vaguely know about.

Well that was a turn up, especially seeing Susan and Mike as newlyweds on Classic Corrie.

So that's yet another character in prison. Anna is the latest in a very long line of inmates. Gary, Kevin, Tyrone , Fizz, Gail, Tracey, David , Steve, Peter, Robert just to name a few who've been put behind bars in the last few years.

The first episode I ever watched was just after Ken's mother had died after being hit by a tram. We were newly married and had rented a TV (as most people did then). My parents didn't have a TV, but I had read about Coronation Street. I don't even know if it was shown in the London area, but we were living in Cheshire after our wedding.

I agree. I think they realised they needed to wrap it up but didn’t want to lose phelan so had to kill Andy. It all felt very “last minute decision” kind of thing.

Does anyone know what the story given for Susan’s death was before they dreamed up billy as her killer? Or did they never explain what happened to her? Surely they would have as Adam has been a character in and out of the show for years.

My thinking is if there's a big phelan storyline over Xmas Andy or vinnie might come back from the dead.

Susan died in a car accident on the M6 (Corriepedia).

eddie I just googled and read the same. It said she lost control of her car and hit a tree so I suppose that could have been as a result of Billy’s car getting in her way, young Adam was in the car but may not have been aware there was another car involved.

There has never been any suggestion at all that another car was involved in Susan's death. We're talking about an accident that took place in 2001, not the 1950s with empty roads and no witnesses.

Mind you, this re-writing of history is small-fry compared to some of the other nonsense at the moment.

If the room/window was open. Risk them seeing you and yelling no Anna no. Then hoping that you have enough strength to push teenage lad and ladder all way back while not being seen. Oh and your earring just happens fall out. But only the stud not the back... oh and the main witness is someone you have long history with... dosnt seem any point having a trail- send her down!

Don't know if this has been mentioned before - (I know this didn't happen ) , so wouldn't the solicitor/ someone on the street have said....."but how could Anna have pushed Seb off the ladder if he was cleaning the window?? Wouldn't he have started going down the ladder when he saw her opening the window with a look of fury on her face ?"

In fact, thinking about it, wouldn't he have come down the ladder when he saw her glaring at him and then angrily going into solicitors?? Or would any normal person just keep whistling a cheery tune whist their potential murderer climbed the stairs, clomped into an open but deserted office and then wrestled with the window in order to shove him off his ladder??
This is what drives me mad about soaps- like when they arrange a funeral in three days, it's as if the writers are treating the viewers as if we are all really really stupid and know nothing about real life!!

I didn’t get gambling reference, is there a back story? I watched wrong order so doubly confused over Robert giving money to Chez- giving it back- giving it to Church- giving it back saga.

The first time I’ll tgey went park in van and flower shop so could be. Though if you have major allergy would expect you to instantly react to it not be fine for 4h and flare up. Perhaps he have kidney problem and Mary can save him by donating.

Least noris2 and surgery woman have gone into sunset- just about 10more to get rid of. Maria not had story line in months. Then spent most of last year in prison (and no one missed her)
