Anyone else excited by the start of the new 2017 series? I am! It's the law in our house to watch all these Christmas programmes - SCD, X Factor and Celeb.

I don't know who half the contestants are but I like Fizz (Corrie). And I can hardly bear to watch the high planks tonight...

Ugh, another woman gone. Also don't understand people who vote for Jamie or Amir. But then people love keeping in controversial/dickhead people, until/if they get sick of them. Like they kept Gillian McKeith in and kept making her do the trials before getting sick of her and voting her out. She wasn't a dickhead, she was just utterly ridiculous and irritating.

My dad died five weeks ago. he could fix anything!! He was always so happy to have five daughters as he believed that women were five times the man!! I thought he was joking.....I don't now.

Why does everything g have to be about men vs women? For me it's genuinely about the best person. I couldn't care less how many men or women are left. It's not relevant.

For me it is relevant as it makes the misogynist narrative more dominant.

Amir, Jamie and Dennis as a pack are showing the worst sort of masculinity and it's damaging not only to women but to men like Iain as well.

LastGirl I'm so sorry for the pain you must be feeling. I've been there too and it's really hard. Hardly anything gets fixed any more either. The pain is more bearable in time, but missing them never goes away.

Apart from Dennis and Stanley I think people are keeping in the camp mates who make the most fuss, as well as Jennie and Jamie who must have a big public vote amongst Coronation Street and probably This Morning viewers?
