Anyone else excited by the start of the new 2017 series? I am! It's the law in our house to watch all these Christmas programmes - SCD, X Factor and Celeb.

I don't know who half the contestants are but I like Fizz (Corrie). And I can hardly bear to watch the high planks tonight...

I'd think you'd be surprised how many men don't know their children's birthday. I used to run a business where the adults had to sign the children in, the majority of men (I'd say at least 70%) would have no idea when their birthdays were and had to ask the children.

Saying that, there does seem to be an issue with Amir remembering a number of things, which could be down to all the hits he has sustained over the years.

I wonder if the others have thanked Ian but it has been edited out. I think we are brain-washed every year by subtle editing. I'm sure The People in Charge know how to manoeuvre their favourites into the final three.

Absolutely running, in one of my earlier posts I think I said that we hadn't been shown any of them being grateful, of course it MAY have happened!!
And off the top of his head, dp now remembers instantly dates of the dcs birthdays but it took about 10 years for the older ones dates to sink in. Hardly worth lynching someone for.

I'm watching, I hope Dennis goes back to camp and says he could understand why Iain couldn't do the trial due to his height.

Will be interesting to see how Dennis does with this trial. He'll fit better than Iain.

Yes I noticed that even Dennis fit snugly into that first air pocket Iain is nearly a foot taller than him!

I can't warm to Dennis at all. He has that Alpha Male thing going on, but not in a Neanderthal (Amir) way- more that patronising, need to look out for the ladies way. Like he'd describe himself as a 'gentleman' and find himself utterly charming.

I agree, Jamie Dennis and Amir have no redeeming qualities. I bet they reckon they're super popular

The men this year are awful.

I was so into this at the beginning - I watched with DD. But hearing Toff (DD's fave) talk about squealing like a woman made me turn off!! Plus Amir...there is something about him I do not like. His choosing of men over women....something!!!!

But I am on my todd tonight so will tune in for a wee while!!!

I'm warming to Iain though.

Iain is a good sport unlike mean Amir who has his own issues. What a cheek

How mean those arses are (Dennis, Amir and Jamie).

And Amir had a right sneery face in the interview room saying... he doesn't like heights, he doesn't like water, he doesn't like anything, I don't know what he's good at. How mean. Ian's won his share of stars for the camp and he doesn't squeal like a girl like Amir does.

When I say 'he doesn't like' I mean it's Amir talking about Ian.

Amir who screams constantly and quit the first trial 🙄 He’s conveniently forgetting that as he bitches about Iain. And once again, Iain gets it right but is made out to be lying/exaggerating. I really hope he wins, I honestly do.

I like Iain too!! He seems so human and normal. Refreshing for a celebrity!!!!

Amid seems to have completely forgotten that he quit his first trial, doesn't he?

Those three men are making me soooo mad now, nasty feckers 😖 I really hope Dennis is put right about the depth of water, when he gets out, as for screeching Amir kettle calling pot black much.
