Anyone else excited by the start of the new 2017 series? I am! It's the law in our house to watch all these Christmas programmes - SCD, X Factor and Celeb.

I don't know who half the contestants are but I like Fizz (Corrie). And I can hardly bear to watch the high planks tonight...

I think comedians often seem to really struggle in the jungle. I remember getting excited years ago when Dom Joly went in thinking he’d be hilarious. He actually seemed to hate it and seemed very much like Iain - actually a bit umcomfortable with himself when he has to do anything that isn’t standing there taking the piss out of people. It’s like they struggle with genuine interaction. A lot of comedians and people who come accross as really witty and clever seem to struggle a lot with mental health. I think it’s really sad.

I don't like the trials with the live animals so much. Having said that the girls are very entertaining! More so than the smelly boys

They made a really good team and were entertaining, I just dislike the critter trials so much.

Nice to hear Dennis say the men are eating humble pie.

I wouldn’t have been able to do that trial, not because I would be scared if anything (though not too nice for animals) but because I can’t sing or hum in tune.

The girls were definitely more enjoyable to watch, they were trying their best without getting frustrated at each other.
