Anyone else excited by the start of the new 2017 series? I am! It's the law in our house to watch all these Christmas programmes - SCD, X Factor and Celeb.

I don't know who half the contestants are but I like Fizz (Corrie). And I can hardly bear to watch the high planks tonight...

I've just got into this and am addicted. I just may be be in love with Amir Khan, with Stanley as a close second. I find Becky's botoxed face oddly endearing- sort of want to hug her. I'm 40 and need to get a life :)

Uri Gellar was veggie and he did an eating trial in the first series. I remember because I was veggie and couldn’t believe he would be made to do it!

Ah, Amir. I didn't think I could dislike him anymore after letting Iain take the flak for Strawberrygate, then I heard 'I don't really cook, I have my sisters, wife and Mum....' I thought about it afterwards, whether I was being unfair to how another culture does things and then I decided that doesn't stop me believing it's archaic behaviour. Goes hand in hand with his entitled 'we were a bit naughty' little boy behaviour.

Amir is just awful. Keep thinking he’ll redeem himself .... nope. Elle, last night was shocking with Amir and Iain secretly eating the strawberries and cream that was won in the bush tucker trial and not sharing with the camp. Shock

I like Vanessa. She mucks in and gives it her all. Toff is relentingly cheerful but she does her bit too.

I think the women are better than then men this year.

I went to the same schools as Toff albeit 7 years before she did. Either they’ve changed dramatically since I’ve left or she’s putting on that accent. There was definitely no one at TGGS anywhere near that posh!

It's a shame we've not seen more of Kez. I had high hopes for her but I think she'll go first just because she doesn't seem to have featured much.
