Anyone else excited by the start of the new 2017 series? I am! It's the law in our house to watch all these Christmas programmes - SCD, X Factor and Celeb.

I don't know who half the contestants are but I like Fizz (Corrie). And I can hardly bear to watch the high planks tonight...

Kez doesn’t seem to be mingling much with the others. She is rarely seen when they are all sitting together, as a group.

Those guys didn't seem to even enjoy those strawberries. Had bites and threw them back on the dish. I reckon they were encouraged to do that.

@darles I thought that to, she seems a bit isolated & never seems to be sitting or chatting with the others, finding it hard to care about any of them & really think the other two ejjits were put up to ‘strawberrygate’ I don’t believe than Iain would be that crass, especially with his children watching.

I’m enjoying this year a lot. Better than previous years where everyone was arguing or some people trying to take over.

I much prefer challenges compared to just eating animal food or having animals poured on them.

The one with the goats jumping between pens last year was great. They had no control over the animals :)

I think these tasks must be so hard for them, not just because they're beyond grim but because of the quantities of liquid/food they are consuming. Their stomachs have shrunk and they're shoving huge amounts down them, it must be so uncomfortable
