Christ - Gregg is worse than a geography teacher invigilating

Halsall · 08/11/2017 20:43

Catherine Cookson, young squoosh. A saga.

Aha, the samphire truck has returned!

squoosh · 08/11/2017 20:44

How lovely to hear Sean Pertwee's sexifying tones once more.

fourquenelles · 08/11/2017 20:44

Catherine Cookson's epic opuses about the Mallen family who had the streak squoosh Was filmed in the late 1970s I think.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 08/11/2017 20:44

Comedy squoosh?

It was a dramatic heartfelt story of folks in the brutal mining villages of t' North East.

squoosh · 08/11/2017 20:44

Oh that's hilarious Halsall. They look like they should be in a League of Gentlemen sketch,

SchadenfreudePersonified · 08/11/2017 20:45

"Sexifying" - best word EVER

SchadenfreudePersonified · 08/11/2017 20:45

Is that lamb not raw?

fourquenelles · 08/11/2017 20:45

Mead. I love a bit gallon or two of mead. Never tried it in a sauce with fish though.

fourquenelles · 08/11/2017 20:46

Daniel is a gonna.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 08/11/2017 20:46

This lad looks like a drunk the morning after getting an ear-bashing from his Mam.

GrouchyKiwi · 08/11/2017 20:46

Daniel certainly hasn't covered himself in glory today, poor chap.

squoosh · 08/11/2017 20:46

Oh I've never tried mead. I'd love to though. I'd but on some bosom displaying wenche's gown and get drunk and rowdy with some lovely young poppinjay.

squoosh · 08/11/2017 20:48

About what happens when a poor miner finds true love with a badger!

fourquenelles · 08/11/2017 20:48

Only way to drink it squoosh. In fact my local wont serve it unless I have my bosom on display and a popinjay at my shoulder. It can also be over 17% proof so not for the faint of heart.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 08/11/2017 20:49

Suresh has the sense not to be swayed by Knackerpant's Gregg's fulsome praise

MyfanwyMontez · 08/11/2017 20:49

squoosh
I absolutely love Mr Pertwee's "sexifying" tones too!

Halsall · 08/11/2017 20:50

We had a bottle of mead given to us once. We tried to get rid of it by palming it off as a raffle prize at some village event and since then it's been circling in some weird limbo, never quite settling at any one house for long before being offered up again in desperation.

GrouchyKiwi · 08/11/2017 20:50

Squoosh I found mead disappointing. And weird.

fourquenelles · 08/11/2017 20:50

Oh gawd effing dog has put his head on the remote so I missed the last contestant grrrr.

fourquenelles · 08/11/2017 20:51

You can go off people Grouchy send all stray mead my way please.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 08/11/2017 20:52

Don't agree with Gregg, Monica! It will only encourage him

Halsall · 08/11/2017 20:52

Ah, Jamie. Half-man, half-badger.
