Halsall
Some good Tudor contenders to add to our collection, and a wumman.

Only one really decent prawns pasta from the very Zen Neil (the only thing I don't like about Neil is that he has no immediate feature that lends itself to a nickname).

Gregg has been particularly arsey. I swear I saw Marcus grab his own fist so that he didn't punch his lights out.

squoosh · 15/11/2017 20:40

A raw menu. Cook something you lazy lump.

GrouchyKiwi · 15/11/2017 20:40

Grin Kurri. I doubt he has that level of self-awareness.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 15/11/2017 20:40

Raw food - oh dear!

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 15/11/2017 20:41

Apples and lobster. One of two things. I'm guessing the second.
Flowers! Nononono! E fucking nuff.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 15/11/2017 20:41

GETOUOFTHEWAYGREGGYOUTWAT!

GrouchyKiwi · 15/11/2017 20:41

There you are, Schaden. Lazy Lump it is for Neil.

Halsall · 15/11/2017 20:42

I'm thinking Holbein needs to be this thread's resident artist, Schaden.

I've only been watching for 5 mins and I already feel the welcome return of murderous feelings towards Gregggg. Oh joy.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 15/11/2017 20:42

Those raspberries look delicious!

And BEETROOT

KurriKurri · 15/11/2017 20:43

They were asked to undercook very thick tagliatelle, and garnish it with unveined prawns.

Most were confused at the idea of a machine that rolls out pasta, so they chopped it up with a knife/pushed it through a Playdough Fun Factory.

sweetbitter · 15/11/2017 20:43

It never goes well when contestants go too simple, ie don't cook anything. I'd be amazed raw guy he gets anything better than lukewarm feedback (there's a pun in there somewhere).

SchadenfreudePersonified · 15/11/2017 20:43

Inspired kiwi - though we may not need it if Monica and Marcus reactions are anything to go by.

squoosh · 15/11/2017 20:43

We need a scheming yet sympathetic character to be Tommy Cromwell. Preferably from Putney.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 15/11/2017 20:45

This guy is channelling Peter Kay.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 15/11/2017 20:45

I love Steven - I want him to succeed!

GrouchyKiwi · 15/11/2017 20:45

I think that Tintin Tom chap from yesterday would fit that description, squoosh. He definitely looks like he'll be plotting to sabotage the other contestants' dishes.

TSSDNCOP · 15/11/2017 20:45

Evening all. Not impressed so far.

viques · 15/11/2017 20:45

Steven, gone from no sauce to three. Hmmm.

Halsall · 15/11/2017 20:46

Unveined prawns......

Ooh, there's a beardy Tudor.

squoosh · 15/11/2017 20:46

I thought he said 'used cheese' 😬

But I suppose 'ewe's' is more likely

GrouchyKiwi · 15/11/2017 20:46

Ewe's cheese. Don't people usually just say sheep cheese? Obviously it's going to be from a ewe.

Good job, Friendly Ben.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 15/11/2017 20:47

Come on Ben . . . Oh thank heavens! They like it!

squoosh · 15/11/2017 20:47

Oh yes Grouchy he'd be dropping belladonna in their mead.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 15/11/2017 20:48

Oh dear - never mind Richard. Shut the door on your way out.

sweetbitter · 15/11/2017 20:48

If there's one thing worse than Greg saying the word "sauce" it's when he says "ssssaaaaaaaaaawce" and makes it last 10 times longer than it should.

Well done Ben.
