Can we not keep going in the alternate universe? I want Susan and Phil to be reality. But why wasn't Dee still alive?

Looking forward to next week though - I hope Therese doesn't go back with Gary.

I'm guessing Hamish's death was an accident. The stress of all his scheming & Tyler discovering everything coupled with the fireworks going off will have induced a heart attack or stroke that meant he leaned on the side of the hot tub before passing out in the water & drowning. Total anticlimax after weeks of whodunnit. It'll be David that proves this theory & gets Tyler out of the spotlight.

This will happen at the same time as David & Aaron's relationship is having issues after Aaron cheats on him. David will say something along the lines of "I didn't do it for you. I did it because it was the right thing to do. The truth had to come out eventually."

MiddleClassProblem · 08/11/2017 08:57

David does the autopsy or a bit of forensic science? I like it. Karl might be jealous though.

I’m surprised Karl and Susan haven’t had David over for dinner. They like having people over and he seems right up their alley. Maybe Karl has too much young doctor envy...

tobee · 08/11/2017 13:37

Just realised what was so odd about yesterday’s episode! Neither Karl (nor David) pronounced Hamish dead at the scene! Mark didn’t come in uniform and start the investigation, only to be pulled off the case as being too involved.

How can we be sure he’s dead if Karl hasn’t said so?

Daffydil · 08/11/2017 14:48

Sheila is being so delightfully guilty, it's clearly not her Grin

tobee · 08/11/2017 15:16

That photo shoot with Courtney and Therese was a bit weird. Confused

CurbsideProphet · 08/11/2017 15:28

I know tobee what was it for?!

MiddleClassProblem · 08/11/2017 19:47

What do you think Sheila and Gary are covering up? Something really dumb? Something dodgy? Or something “humorous”? I hope it’s not the first option but with all the new Rebecchi family reveals being so naff I don’t hold out much hope

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 08/11/2017 20:30

OMG! The world weary detective is only Robert Grubb. Used to love him in the Flying Doctors. Sigh.

woodhill · 08/11/2017 21:48

That outfit Therese was wearing was ghastly

tobee · 08/11/2017 23:06

When I saw in some spoilers (😱) that Therese was going to be encouraging to Courtney I thought oh that’s a good idea! Then when the scene hung on those photos and that dress....

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 08/11/2017 23:26

The outfit was very odd. Kind of burlesque cheerleader. If they’d made me wear that I’d have insisted on wearing a full face mask.

OuaisMaisBon · 09/11/2017 06:34

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster - ah, thank you, I knew I recognized him (though more from "Blue Heelers" than the "Flying Doctors", I think!), but had no idea of his name.
I fast forwarded through most of yesterday's episode, so may have missed exactly what was going on with Therese and Courtney and the busting out costume - but I just assumed it was some nefarious plan of Courtney's to get Paul to bust Therese out (see what I did?) of Lassiter's because of conduct unbecoming to the brand, leaving Courtney to put all those "tasteful" photos of herself all over the hotel with impunity.

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 09/11/2017 10:50

He was also in a film with Mel Gibson

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 09/11/2017 10:55

Ok so that posted too soon. He was also in a film with Mel Gibson years ago (before MG was known as a tiny big old drunken racist) called Gallipoli. A great film.

Very nice to see him again. Ouis I’m glad to have been of assistance. Don’t think I ever saw Blue Heelers despite my addiction to Australian trash TV. I watched a lot of McLeods Daughters when DS1 was small and never slept.

Mogtheanxiouscat · 09/11/2017 11:05

Only me who lolled at Hamish's legs and boots sticking out of the hot tub?

It's so nurse Louise wot done it.

Therese's cancer seems long forgotten.

OuaisMaisBon · 09/11/2017 13:00

Yes, TheWFAMHamster, I remember that film, which is one of few which stick in my mind as a powerful masterpiece, but not him in itGrin
"Blue Heelers" was the apogee of Aussie soaps, to my mind - I will never forget the classic line uttered by Sergeant Nick (played by William McInnes, another of my favourite Australian actors), on finding a depressed man he was searching for sitting on a rock overlooking a ravine, with a cocked gun beside him, uttering the immortal words: "Top spot." (Perhaps you had to be there!)
Sorry for the digression.
Mog, I was thinking that about Therese's cancer as she strutted around in full boob mode.

Clawdy · 09/11/2017 13:52

I wonder what bra size Therese is. ....

Mogtheanxiouscat · 09/11/2017 14:39

I wonder which is bigger, one of Therese's boobs or Gabezilla's head?

Floellabumbags · 09/11/2017 14:52

You can see both from space.

MiddleClassProblem · 09/11/2017 17:41

😂😂😂

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 09/11/2017 17:45

Well Flo they would be visible from space but the glare off Elly’s Teeth would blind you before you could focus on them.

Tim Peake had to wear sunglasses when the space station went round that side of earth. True fact.

MiddleClassProblem · 09/11/2017 23:35

So Kirsha loses her hearing and Mishti gets super hearing?

tobee · 10/11/2017 01:56
Grin
Floellabumbags · 10/11/2017 17:37

I believe you 🐴 😎

tobee · 10/11/2017 17:57

Wow! They were really pleased with Piper’s chapped lips make up today, weren’t they?
