And it has irrationally given me the rage that Steph taught Jack everything about how to be good in bed-he was even a crap kisser!-and now Paige gets the benefit of it, or did for one night anyway. Jack is the villain of the piece here, with his smug, self-entitled attitude-just like Brad was when he cheated with Lauren. He seems almost schizophrenic, or maybe sociopathic, in respect of his change of attitude towards Steph. What happened with mark and Steph
How long have you got?! Basically, they were going through surrogacy with Sonya as an egg donor due to Steph having no viable eggs left. Mark started lying to Steph and breaking dates with her to spend time with Sonya, Steph felt sidelined, and Josie Lamb’s Mum (Victoria, who was their surrogacy counsellor) started coming onto her. Steph kissed her in the motel, realised she couldn’t keep seeing Mark, told him about the kiss immediately and dumped him. That was Valentine’s Day last year-the month of February has not been kind to either Mark or Steph in recent years!

Interestingly Home&Away got huge backlash from having a gay storyline and largely avoid it. There is a new story coming with a gay man. Neighbours is very liberal and has covered lots of stories, long term characters. I wonder why H&A struggle so much more

Did H & A have a recent gay storyline? I remember them being trailblazers in the 90s with the Shannon/Mandy stuff, they seemed more liberal than Neighbours then, but Neighbours has come leaps and bounds ahead of them, especially with David’s proposal to Aaron

By this point Paige & Jack will be together but Paige will realise she was in love with Mark all along, until they get serious enough for him to go hunting through his ring drawer again

Damn, I was rather hoping there’d be a plot twist whereby Mark would propose to Elly and the wedding would actually happen! Paige would be in the middle of declaring her love for Mark during the speeches, when Jack would keel over due to Steph having swapped his mango sorbet for pineapple sorbet in revenge. Paige would keep a bedside vigil for Jack, but sadly he’d die this time and she’d bugger off to Queensland declaring she’d never love another man. 6 months later we’ll hear that she’s engaged to Daniel Mark would discover that Steph murdered Jack but would cover for her by wiping down every stray pineapple tin in Erinsborough
