Can we not keep going in the alternate universe? I want Susan and Phil to be reality. But why wasn't Dee still alive?

Looking forward to next week though - I hope Therese doesn't go back with Gary.

Hey Anne 😁😁 I remember the final shot of Sons and Daughters with Wayne sobbing over a dead body, I think it was Susan. Ah the memories!

tobee · 07/11/2017 01:15

MiddleClass GrinGrinGrin

Hope they’ll be more tension in the next so. More I think about it, all that build up re Hamish deceit and it was so quickly discovered.

Floellabumbags · 07/11/2017 08:14

Wait a month until he starts Erinsborough High

😂

SleepingStandingUp · 07/11/2017 13:40

Courtney quit the day spa so there wasn't anyone to run it so Xanthe had no job. Of only she'd been there 6 months Xanthe could have run it single handedly. As it is she's now erm Courtneys lackey

MiddleClassProblem · 07/11/2017 13:47

Ah yes, standard business practice. When your manager quits close the business. They had staffing issues before Courtney hence her hiring so you’d think Terese would be able to sort it temporarily...

tobee · 07/11/2017 14:28

Hmm. That was a bit disappointing again. I was expecting to see “the ambos “, and police, and scene of crime people immediately, But it was low key. Presumably it’s all going to be about whodunnit?

Also, I hate when they have a biiiig story flagged in soaps and then they stick in another unrelated story in at the same time. So the Kirsha stuff could have waited for another day.

Plus I kept forgetting about Piper being under steam with loony Louise at the helm.

Everyone was in slow motion for the Hamish stuff.

Floellabumbags · 07/11/2017 14:33

I hate myself for this. I really, genuinely despise myself. I found Mark quite attractive when he got arrested.

MrsSteveMcDonald · 07/11/2017 14:41

Anne you really need to make it clearer when you start a new thread, I just couldn't for the life of me work out where you went from the last one

I thought the gala costumes were ghastly, do wardrobe hate the cast that much?

The new Hannah (Button) Martin Kirsha is surely old enough to realilse that holding a sparkler over a box of fireworks isn't a good idea?

MrsSteveMcDonald · 07/11/2017 14:42

Floella you clearly need to ride off into the beige sunset with Mark while I look after Paul

Floellabumbags · 07/11/2017 14:50

Paul is mine. Mark is just a walk on the mild side.

tobee · 07/11/2017 15:25

Was it the bit when Amy was looking at him, Floella? Wink

He’s quite good at looking sad and a bit tousled. Grin

Floellabumbags · 07/11/2017 15:55

Yes. I'm ashamed.

I hope fucking Yashvi did it and she'll piss off to prison.

MiddleClassProblem · 07/11/2017 16:48

He did look fit. He was channeling pre safe house Mark.

I prefer a it having breaks from the big plot. Especially as it’s about full bag Hamish.

I hope Xanthe will start nursing again. With no HSCs.

SleepingStandingUp · 07/11/2017 16:49

There laying in on so thick with Sheila/Dull Son it can be them.

Didbt Kirsha say look what found when she came out with the sparkler? So who left them lying around along with matches?

Also what sort of sour puss wouldn't take the kids to see the fireworks? They were up so presumably not that late. Was Yashvi babysitting so missing them too? Who had Jimmy?

SleepingStandingUp · 07/11/2017 16:50

Maybe she can do an access course and then she's be able to nurse in about 3 months

woodhill · 07/11/2017 16:51

Dante looked like a canary

MiddleClassProblem · 07/11/2017 16:58

Jimmy was in his box in a cupboard in the utility room. He’s such a big puppet he doesn’t fit under Amy’s bed.

MrsSteveMcDonald · 07/11/2017 17:15

Jimmy is at camp I think.

The fireworks started at 9pm, not sure how far away Lassiters is from Ramsey Street but as people drive there to work it must be far enough away to justify that. It was probably decided to be too late a finish for Kirsha so Yashvi was left to babysit so that Shane and Dipi could stay out and enjoy it

SleepingStandingUp · 07/11/2017 18:07

Miserable I tell ya.

MiddleClassProblem · 07/11/2017 18:58

The party itself seemed adults only from the attire lol

SleepingStandingUp · 07/11/2017 19:27

I still think its miserable. Fireworks earlier for the kids and then no one would be deaf!

tobee · 07/11/2017 19:45

Just heard it was the Melbourne Cup today. No mention of it on the show. They normally mention it quite a bit.

MiddleClassProblem · 07/11/2017 20:29

Yes, they normally love a flutter story line

ComedyofTerrors · 07/11/2017 23:58

Bye Bye Hamish, gone and not soon forgotten for the appalling acting and dodgy accent.

I suspect there will soon be a love triangle with Aaron, David and Rory.

There are so many possible suspects they can drag it out for a while yet while they pursue all the red herrings. I think my money is on the nutty nurse.

Floellabumbags · 08/11/2017 07:59

If I were Kirsha I'd be thanking my lucky stars to have a break from Yashvi's nasal whining.
