Cave, thanks for that salsa clip. Gorgeous! I too hate these showy, lifty salsas they always do on Strictly; watching salsa should make you feel like you can't sit still. I think they should just dance the basic steps and make it roll.
Bit of a travesty re Chizzy. I didn't see much dance content in Brian's, and I agree with PPs that the celebs' dancing should be judged as much as, if not more than, the amount of content; the latter is usually carefully thought out by the pro – I suspect in this case Chizzy had problems/limitations with injury/fitness/the fact the foxtrot is very technical and tricky, and Pasha took the calculated risk to play to the audience with entertainment value and character rather than major on the technique.
This works well if you can avoid the dance-off, but in this case sadly the risk didn't pay off.
Still, bright side, Brian will be gone soon enough.
