Chizzy - not bad, but didn't feel very Foxtrot-y to me. Didn't see a lot of heels, but the camera isn't great at showing footwork. Very little sway.
Aston - too many tricks! Dodgy last lift. Lacked salsa content for me and he was surprisingly stiff in the hips.
Susan - not brilliant, a tad laboured and very little swivel. Entertaining though.
Charlotte - oh dear. Skippy and lacked foot pressure. Her centre of gravity looked too far behind her - the body should move first and the legs/feet follow, not the other way round.
Joe - music waaay too fast! Legs too straight and frame kept slipping - just looked like he was running to keep up with Katya most of the time.
Brian - shame the paper trick didn't work! Wooden hips, bent legs and very skippy.
Gemma - eek wardrobe, the cut of that dress makes her boobs look weird! Didn't like it, the dance didn't really travel across the floor for me and she kept looking at the ceiling.
Rev Richard - Lord love him, but eek that was stompy! Also brown outfits do not belong on Strictly!
Ruth - bit of swivel going on there! Could have given it a bit more welly! Better than Susan's Charleston.
Simon - quite stiff, rise and fall very lumpy and little swing or sway. Tried very hard with his footwork but that meant he lacked performance.
Mollie - felt more like a Paso at times and illegal lift! Not down enough into her knees and she does this weird thing jutting her chin forward which brings her shoulders up and throws off her posture.
Jonnie - not bad, nice to see him let go a bit. Needs to shape his free arm more.
Debbie - turns her feet out too much. Lovely arms and lyrical movement but did look like she was hanging on to Joe Varny a bit.
Davood - some gapping. Didn't see the point of the costume faff. Bit too much energy,, needs to tone it down a bit.
Alexandra - didn't have the right posture for most of the dance and again the music was too fast. She sold it, but not really a true Paso for me.
Shirley quite cutting with her comments to the Pros tonight, but she's right they need to choreograph appropriately - if your Celeb is struggling then make it simpler, and if they are capable then stop the faffing!
