Welcome back all.

Maybe he's now renting her old house in stalkerish manner...

PhelanGood · 01/10/2017 19:49

My theory is that Gemma will swerve to avoid Slimon and while veering away she will hit Tom on his bike, who has come to check whether his dad's OK, as she kind of thoughtlessly left this hanging when they spoke.

Tom will then spend the episode ill in hospital which will bring Gemma and Griff Rhys Jones closer, make them realise what really matters. They will all end up back together in Gemma's house, the parents having sex with undergarments on, happily ever after. Or else they will grow up, live separate lives but be amicable for the sake of their son.

There will be many dramatic moments punctuated by epic music which will end in horrors such as her reaching the other side of the room.

Anyone else have theories about the ending? From the last series I learned that there will probably be no super crazy twists or shocks. I don't know where the syringes will come in though.. Or what Slime has told Tom..

EnidButton · 01/10/2017 19:56

Gemma and Griff Rhys Jones

Grin Glad it's not just me.

Front of the TV times has something like "there's never been anything on TV like it" with a big Gemma and Griff Simon pic. Well, they're not wrong.

Longdistance · 01/10/2017 20:11

Was the syringes anything to do with fertility, and Gemma getting herself pg with Simon?

We haven't seen anything if those syringes, whatever's in them 🤷🏼‍♀️

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/10/2017 20:18

bbc iplayer doesnt work abroad :( but i watched on you tube follwoing night

i hope she doesnt get bavk with him

CakeNinja · 01/10/2017 20:26

Really hope all the loose ends are tied up on Tuesday.
Not sure there's anywhere left to go with these characters, it's exhausting watching their desperate neediness!

NikiBabe · 01/10/2017 21:46

I read a review for last episode. It centres on Tom apparently and paves the way for series 3

CakeNinja · 01/10/2017 22:04

Oh god, really?! Confused
Big mistake. This series was all a bit car crash, although compulsive viewing for all the wrong reasons. Lots of cringe and uncomfortable moments, and lots of completely unbelievable sub plots.
For the most part, the first series was quite plausible I seem to remember (was a long time ago now), and I don't like things that can't be real. This series has needed a lot of suspension of belief to keep me going. Not sure I would be interested in watching a third series.

NikiBabe · 01/10/2017 22:11

Apparently so @cakeninja. See here.

*Facepalm
Thanks for that Niki, I'm really disappointed!
I guess neither simon nor gemma will die in the finale the, as its not the finale after all Shock

NikiBabe · 01/10/2017 22:56

Yup. Sorry all. There are no spoilers in that review so not controversial to post. Guess it's better you all know now rather than be hugely let down!

RyanStartedTheFire · 01/10/2017 23:17

Very much sounds like Tom is going to kill himself there. Could push Gemma and Simon back into each other’s arms? Creating season 3 of this rubbish that I will most definitely watch.

Fluffypinkpyjamas · 01/10/2017 23:46

blondes l don’t live in the UK and I use iPlayer through a good vpn, try myprivatenetwork.

NamedyChangedy · 02/10/2017 00:43

@ZuzuMyLittleGingersnap I think you just might be incredibly wise. Now I have to watch the finale, to see if you're right! Sad

Lottapianos · 02/10/2017 08:50

Oh dear lord, no series 3 PLEASE!!! Haven't we suffered enough?! Wink

ZuzuMyLittleGingersnap · 02/10/2017 11:11

Namedy,

There would be an unfortunate irony in Hypochondriac Chap renting Gemma's old house, wouldn't there?

A Doctor's house. Hygienic and germ-free environment, then, he would assume.

Especially the kitchen island and dining room table, for instance. Grin Grin

I hope his bleach game is strong.

pinkingshears · 02/10/2017 12:18

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/10/2017 13:19

@fluffy, oh, maybe as my iphone and ipad are uk tuned, was bloody annoying not to be able to watch anything off it

EnidButton · 02/10/2017 14:21

The shock ending us going to be that she's pregnant isn't it. I will roll my eyes so much if it is. Such a boring over used soap plot. Unexpected pregnancy stopped being a shock around the 11th time Eastenders used it to move a storyline along last year.

dottypotter · 02/10/2017 15:12

I have given up on this. Its just like a soap opera and I don't watch them. Its nasty, nobody is nice and there is no reality in it just one high drama after another. The drinking scenes are awful it was mentioned in the paper at the weekend.

Highly scripted and high drama using nastiness as entertainment just like the soaps im sure there will be something better on.

Optimist1 · 02/10/2017 19:17

At least in the soaps there are a few characters that we actually like/admire, dotty - in this one I hate all of them, with the exception of Tom, for whom I just feel pity.

EnidButton · 02/10/2017 19:19

Ad for it came on tv. DH asked me what it was. (I watch on iplayer) I didn't know where to start. He looked none the wiser when I'd finished.

tigerpug · 02/10/2017 22:34

My money is on the bastard man being thrown in the pool and dying at the hands of Tom

Poor Tom!

Therealslimshady1 · 03/10/2017 08:27

Enid, I think you are onto something.

I reckon there will be a dramatic tussle but nobody will die.

There won't be a clear winner.

And a big reveal is that she's pregnant.

And that sets the scene for season.3
