@ktel1 Maxine Peake is a fantastic actress. I started to watch "Keeping Rosy" on the iPlayer last night but daughter woke up so that's tomorrow's treat. Have you seen that?

Lolipop yes I'v seen that it's really good. I've liked everything she's done. She's a very talented actress and appears to be very discerning with the roles she chooses.

Ha intime it was I who put the Steptoe photo up on the last thread . Simon's tantrum on the drive, along with his "No! No!" shouting to Gemma had me sniggering like mad. We were meant to think he was a man driven to the edge with desperation, but he came acrosss like a two year old whose Mummy said he couldn't have a packet of chocolate buttons because it's teatime.
