I feel a bit sorry for Simon too Shock

pizzaeatingmonkey · 26/09/2017 22:45

Just put Medea into Google and a picture of several pictures of Gemma popped up!

Sandsunsea · 26/09/2017 22:52

Medea killed her children!

CanIBuffalo · 26/09/2017 22:53

Well that's not very nice.

JamOrCreamFirst · 26/09/2017 22:55

Don't think they'll do infanticide. And I can't bear it if he commits suicide. Poor Tom.

WishingCarrot · 26/09/2017 22:56

Whenever I see Kate's dad in anything, I always half expect him to shout "Martin, tea!" Grin

Anyone else, or am I showing my age??

lollipop7 · 26/09/2017 23:08

At least we were spared the nude block heels this week...or did I just miss them😂

FeralBeryl · 26/09/2017 23:12

Well that episode has shut us up hasn't it! Shock bring back the block heels and swingy fridge door. That was almost realistic in parts.
Tom in the bath was heartbreaking Sad
So the only 'answer' we're still waiting on is whatever Slimon told Tom - is that it?

Cafeconleche · 26/09/2017 23:13

And the syringe!

Cafeconleche · 26/09/2017 23:15

My theory on what Simon told Tom is a few posts above Feral - feel free to add, amend or discard

Onecutefox · 26/09/2017 23:18

Oh, did it, Clumsyduck? DH's fault for switching between Bake off and the film at the beginning.

IfYouGoDownToTheWoodsToday · 26/09/2017 23:18

Wishing I recognise him from something, what is the programme and who's Martin?Grin

ktel1 · 26/09/2017 23:19

He was the head clerk in Silk

IfYouGoDownToTheWoodsToday · 26/09/2017 23:20

Oh yes! He's been in other stuff too. I'm sure he was in a comedy. I'm going to google.

MissEliza · 26/09/2017 23:21

Did they change scriptwriters? It was a completely different programme tonight. It almost made sense!
I loved Neil Stuke (Kate's dad - can't remember his name) joyously telling Simon to fuck off!

IfYouGoDownToTheWoodsToday · 26/09/2017 23:24

He was in something called Game On in the late 90s. I vaguely remember watching it.

lollipop7 · 26/09/2017 23:25

@ktel1 I loved that programme.

lollipop7 · 26/09/2017 23:26

@FeralBeryl .... "Slimon" 😆

He really is an odious twatbag isn't he.

IfYouGoDownToTheWoodsToday · 26/09/2017 23:26

When they were all telling him to fuck off, it was so intense I wasn't sure what was being said. Did Kate say she'd made a deal with her Dad that if Simon remained faithful for two year, the house and business would be his?

ktel1 · 26/09/2017 23:26

He's been great in everything I've seen him in very good actor

I would say that he's a cut above most of the others in this

ktel1 · 26/09/2017 23:29

Lollipop I've watched that series 3 times. It's exceptional.

lollipop7 · 26/09/2017 23:32

@ktel1 Maxine Peake is a fantastic actress. I started to watch "Keeping Rosy" on the iPlayer last night but daughter woke up so that's tomorrow's treat. Have you seen that?

I wish there was more stuff like that on tv.

ktel1 · 26/09/2017 23:36

Lolipop yes I'v seen that it's really good. I've liked everything she's done. She's a very talented actress and appears to be very discerning with the roles she chooses.

NikiBabe · 26/09/2017 23:40

Ha Simon.

No money, no home, no job, nobody!

MargotLovedTom1 · 26/09/2017 23:42

Ha intime it was I who put the Steptoe photo up on the last thread Grin. Simon's tantrum on the drive, along with his "No! No!" shouting to Gemma had me sniggering like mad. We were meant to think he was a man driven to the edge with desperation, but he came acrosss like a two year old whose Mummy said he couldn't have a packet of chocolate buttons because it's teatime.
