I'm 5 minutes behind but I love the series too

CremeBrulee · 31/08/2017 21:16

Can't believe the insensitive questions being asked of Rani though!

GoGoGazelle · 31/08/2017 21:18

It's heartbreaking the start some of these children have had isn't it? And then coming here and being joked about and wound up. Horrible.

SuffolkNWhat · 31/08/2017 21:43

It's hard to tell kids off when you find something funny yourself

MyBeloved · 31/08/2017 21:45

I thought the punishment and telling off was totally disproportionate. Think that teacher is power mad.

HerculesMulligan · 31/08/2017 21:51

He inherited a school with massive behavioural problems. He's managed to begin to turn it round so I don't blame him for coming down hard on small things to make it clear that the school can't go backwards.

MyBeloved · 31/08/2017 21:57

Rani and Jack are awesome

allthingslipsticks · 31/08/2017 21:58

Rani and Jack's friendship is adorable Grin.

What a lovely lad Jack is, his Mum must be so proud.

GoGoGazelle · 31/08/2017 22:02

Rani and Jack's friendship is awesome. They seem such nice boys.

SwedishEdith · 31/08/2017 22:05

Great episode. Loved it.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 31/08/2017 22:07

Jack and his mum, such great people

GypsieQueen · 31/08/2017 22:09

I cried seeing Jack and Rani's friendship. What lovely young boys and how wonderful for Rani to have a best friend after what he's been through. Jack is such a kind, caring young boy. I'm not surprised though that he's like that after seeing his mum. She was bloody lovely!

Bunnyjo · 31/08/2017 22:09

Just finished watching it on +1 - the friendship between Jack and Rani is so heart warming. Such sweet boys; the little piece with Jack's mum showed the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree - she, too, was lovely.

ujerneyson · 31/08/2017 22:10

I just watched their interview on This Morning and they are both lovely kids but Jack is fantastic a really charismatic, kind articulate, smart boy and I agree, he mum is fab too

Spudlet · 31/08/2017 22:18

I've never watched these programmes before, and this one made my eyes water at least three or four times. Is it always this emotional?!

Poor little Rani, what a gigantic portion of crap for him to deal with at such a young age. So glad he has a good friend to help him through.

MissEliza · 31/08/2017 22:21

Lovely programme. Rani is so lucky to have a warm and kind friend like Jack (and his mum!). I loved her making an effort to invite him to tea and the dad not understanding what she meant. As someone who has worked with EAL and SEN kids I was LMAO when Rani wrote 'fock' on the van! Dead giveaway who had done it!
I also burst into tears when Rani was told he was leaving the unit. I had a pupil who really struggled with that transition and I really felt for him.
