What are people's opinions on the new Bake Off so far? And yes, I know we're only a few minutes in. IMO the new presenters feel a bit like they're trying a little too hard to be Mel and Sue.

How did Stacey get second in the technical challenge? Hers looked far worse than Stevens , and they said his tasted fine. Sophie's looked amazing, lovely shiny chocolate.

Hollywood seems dazzled still by the fact Kate is from his part of the works ....

Steven could be in trouble, he needs to do better than Kate and Sophie on this round

Why is Prue wearing a ball gag round her neck? What are she and Paul up to in the other tent?

I hope Kate isn't overstitching herself.

I really doubt the contestants will have heard of craquelin before the episode either.

Wasn't there a glimpse in the trailer of a tallish pink meringue thing that had a big crack down it and coming away from the central thing? Does that suggest that Sophie's bodice for her tutu cracks and comes away?

Interestingly didn’t previous years use to make spares when they did meringue work? I do feel bad for them doing meringues in the heat, it feels a bit unfair?

Precious years made the most amazing show stoppers but this year they’ve deliberately made them do other things which has made it interesting
