Yep can't warm to Steve. Pleased for Julia. Think it's Flo's time to go, she doesn't seem too bothered by how her bakes go.

Another one here massively irritated by Kate's hair flopping around all over the food. I find it repellant and think she is pathetic to not tie her hair back properly.

It's got to the stage where it really spoils my viewing of the show, which I think is much improved this series.

You can tell which of them see a sparkling media career in their future though. Sadly inevitable I suppose when a show has been on for a few seasons and people can see what the previous contestants did afterwards.

Steve's handbag was AMAZING. But jeez, the Steve love is so nauseating.

I wonder if they're doing that thing where they build up who the viewers think will win, so there's a curveball at the end when it's someone else?

Steve looks insufferably smug, both me and DH were hiding behind our hands at Paul's man love for him.

Flo had to go although i thought she was lovely, however i loved how they kept cutting to her sneering at everyone who did well, they were enthusing all over floppy haired's squid ink but ignored Flo's - she gave good daggers!

And i know Paul is eye candy for ladies of a certain age but FFS i wish he would stop standing there, hands in pockets, staring at the camera

YY to Liam being so sweet - when he said 'i have been baking since i was 15' That was 3 years ago love bless him! I still want him to do well

I'm liking it, glad that Jules won SB , not sure about squid ink colouring though I wonder what it tasted like? I think it would be better if the judges had to GUESS the flavourings!

Yes but let's face it he has shown more skill and flair then anyone else so far. Fair enough, last night he did poor tea cakes so they couldn't give him star baker again. But he seems to be head and shoulders above the others.

But there are loads of posts online showing steve''s facebook page which shows all his baking work. And loads of people are saying he gets paid for it. If that's the case then he shouldn't be a contestant at all
