well, just finished watching it, abit late.
I am liking Pru, and think Noel and Sandi just relaxing into it .
Did think it was a fairly straightforward who was star who was a goner.
Agree that Sophie does look a bit smug, but I did like her snakes and ladders

I watched tonight for first time new series.
I really really like new presenters... Prue is lovely and seems genuinely interested, noel is so sweet, seems dazed at good fortune of being picked to do the job, Paul has softened and sandi holds them together.

I felt Mary berry et Al had become too much the stars of the show and it had become a parody of itself. Also found Mary berry insufferably smug.

It feels like nice gentle baking programme again now

I'm loving the new and improved version of Bake Off. Mel and Sue had become unfunny and I never bought Mary's benign act. I like that the bakers and their creations are truly centre stage, just like Bake Off on the BBC was in the early days.

Early tip to win - someone talented and marketable, as usual, so I think Steven or Sophie.

I have just heard that it is said that star baker was selling cakes prior to the programme - that can't be true, surely?

Bookbook, a bit of truth twisting. He has made cakes for friends and family and posted pictures of them on Instagram, much like most people who can bake do. He is not and has never been a professional baker

I like Sophie- she's much more likeable than candice.

Very glad with the one who's gone today. I'm deliberately not learning his name because he's tried so fucking hard to be memorable/funny/get a presenting job after this that it's cringey to watch him.

I'm really enjoying it although only watched the last series on the BBC so not actually a die hard fan but could well turn into one!

Steven is fantastic & I like Sophie too but can't stand Flo - too annoying & Cilla-like for me!

There's no one I dislike - Though not sad to see thingie go. My fav is Liam - he reminds me of someone but I'm not sure who: don't think he'll last though.

I wasn't keen on the one who went, far too much of an amateur comedian. But I'm loving the new GBBO. Such a relief!

Noel and Sandi seem to be getting into it now. Both seemed so much more relaxed. Sandi's 'on the turn' comment made me lol.
