THIS THREAD IS FOR DISCUSSION OF SEASON 7, EPISODE 7 "THE DRAGON AND THE WOLF"

Come and discuss the very last episode in the penultimate series, airing August 27th at 2am UK time! Don't read the thread if you want to avoid finding out what happens in Season 7 but also Seasons 1-6.

Please avoid discussing leaks and production details for Seasons 7 and 8 but speculate away on what we have learnt from the new episodes and what it might mean for the rest of the Season and the ultimate winner(s) of the Game of Thrones.

They are going to have a baby! Because the targariyans have always wed brother to sister to keep blood lines pure . And technically they are related and he's a bit dragon so they will make a baby!

What?! The excursion to capture a wight gave the night king the very thing to bring down the wall. How would they have got passed had they not speared a dragon? I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Wow.

I really enjoyed that - I thought it was predictable, but very good fun. I wobbled a bit when I thought that Jaime was a goner, but ultimately even Cersie isn't that mad.

NK on an ice dragon was pure fan service, but amazing

Bran has really honed his powers now, so he can dip straight into the bit of history he needs to see.

Did Tormund and Beric die at the end? I couldn't tell whether they were on that bit of the Wall or not

Interesting note - there was a 'leak' scene that didn't actually occur that I was expecting with Cersei. Makes s8 veeeeery interesting.
