I'm in denial that it is nearly September.

I am looking forward to Flushing Meadows. I feels like ages ages since I was able to 'watch' any tennis.

I need to check out all these tennis wedding and Roger meeting the royal family stories - they sound more interesting than the tennis at the moment

Fizzy they are. . I must admit, all the Serena pictures have made me smile. She looks very happy, and their daughter is gorgeous- but it's so ott, wedding wise. .

Just checking in to watch the semi final. But I'm annoyed that we can only see one of them.

Since he beat Rafa, I 'd love him to beat Roger. It's probably unlikely. He lost pretty comprehensively to Grigor.

Andrew has just said Serena's dress cost £2.6 million dollars.

I had to take the dog out, and David was 3-0 up in the second when I went out. I'm delighted at the way this match is going.

it's a very odd year. We expect a 'transition ' from the old guard every year. But this isn't it. It's just odd.

In a way, I'm glad Sock got as far as he did. It's always hard being the player who snuck in at the end and seems to be making up the numbers. So he didn't disgrace himself.

Now I hope Goffin can play today like he did yesterday ( and forget the previous mstch). I don't want a one sided final to end the year. I still really would like Grigor to win, but won't be too unhappy if David does.

I don't know what's going on but Sky are showing the final now and then have the darts final supposed to be on at 6.30.

I'm not sure I will last much longer. I'm not feeling too great, it feels like the syset if a migraine. First one in a while, so can't complain. But I feel very bleurgh.
