I like Jodie W since she was in Cranford, and this new 4 part series looks good, plus it has to be an improvement on the rubbish that was on last week in this slot.

Quite a good episode this week pity it is going to end next week but it seems to have improved as a series.

Omg I knew she was a plonkie ! How come Boone ever smelt booze on her ? She talks so close to people and despite what people say vodka does have a smell on people's breath and in drinks ! It's so far fetched but so addictive. Dr perfect is obviously blackmailing kath so he has the "perfect"family scenario ! He doesn't love her he loves being seen as a family

Paramedics are not allowed to perform tracheostomy ( airway in throat) only drs allowed to do it . Ent or anaesthetics would definitely be on a normal a&e and it was bollocks saying he was stuck in maternity as each dept has allocated anaesthetic drs . I knew from episode 1 that the silver flask wud have booze in as the camera was always flashing to her flask and every scene she took a swig

The details are what lets this drama down, because surely when piss-head Bridgette followed up Cath's references they'd have said 'She's gone to New Zealand', and then there's the fact that everyone googles everyone these days, so surely an employer would do it as a matter of course to see if there was anything the candidate was hiding? As for beardy doctor Andy - he's sinister. Where the hell are his family, FGS? I think he's got red flags sticking out all over.

I couldn't work out what was wrong with the phone man. Did he have an abscess that burst after he left, so it poisoned him? And did he die? He would have brain damage due to lack of oxygen, I was shouting at the tv ffs give him a tracheotomy!

Maybe Bridgette was too sozzled to check references, she seemed so pleased to have her maybe she couldn't be bothered. She's constantly messing up. Though that wouldn't stack up with HR. But they'd definitely Google

I'm disappointed hot beardy doctor won't be her knight in shining armour since he is a psycho.. Yes, where are his kids? Think this is going to turn sinister.

Mind you the sozzled boss and stalky, beardy doctor make her look completely normal.

Between the imposter doctor, the stalker consultant (who is covering for the imposter doctor), and the drunk head of A&E it doesn't exactly make the NHS look great does it?!

Re: phone man - I thought the abcess in his jaw swelled up and blocked his airway, but yes, why no tracheostomy as soon as he reached A&E? I'm not even medical and I was thinking 'This poor guy is going to be brain dead by the time everyone's stopped panicking'. And no, I don't think he died, but I'm not sure.

The abscess was so large it was obstructing his airway . Alli knew he needed to be seen by the maxillo facial team and it was Bridget that said to discharge him with abx . I can't wait for the next episode . I can't see how it's going to have a happy ending though and I think the last episode may be a disappointment as it will be rushed ? Everything is happening so fast in this programme which just adds to its un realistic feel . However, I do enjoy it and will wait with bated breath for the final episode ..........
