Anyone else looking forward to this?
I like Jodie W since she was in Cranford, and this new 4 part series looks good, plus it has to be an improvement on the rubbish that was on last week in this slot.

Beard doctor is 😍

I really enjoyed the first episode. It was nice to have a drama to get into.

Slightly unbelievable but a good watch and had me on the edge of my seat a few times.

JW is just fab and plays her character well. I was really surprised to see Neil from the inbetweeners as the estranged husband - gosh he looks and sounds so different from his other role!

Looking forward to next episode!

I didn't realise it was Neil!!

That said I am useless at faces and it drives DH insane. He is brilliant at faces. We'll be watching something and he'll point out that a woman in a coffee shop is the woman out of an advert we saw once.
I can watch two things with the same lead actor and not realise they are the same person.

Roll on 9pm, or actually 10pm on catch up after child genius which is on every night this week.

Oooh, so she has been rumbled then. Surely he won't keep her secret? That would be beyond unrealistic. She really was such an idiot to get involved with him. Surely that's the number one rule if you're trying to do something like this- keep yourself to yourself and avoid interactions with colleague who might discover the truth.

Going back to the hearing in ep 1 where she was suspended - she'd never have gone to a meeting like that without someone to accompany her. They would have to tell her in advance that she was entitled to be accompanied and that they were likely to be taking action of some kind.

About 15-20 years ago my pal was a newly (just out the box) qualified doctor. It was back when they all stayed on site in the halls. One day police/immigration turned up and busted into one guys room. Apparently he wasn't who he said he was and wasn't a doctor. My pal said at the time:

"Well he wasn't that good, ..... but he wasn't the worst!!!!"

She couldn't get another job as a nurse as she had been suspended so her registration would not allow her to apply for other jobs . She used her best friends identity so she could pretend to be someone else and work . I loved it

The junior doctor chap used to feed my cat when we were away ok holiday as he was my neighbour. I still have him in my contacts as "Michael Cat".
