Just watching the night garden for the first time and come to the conclusion it is the Teletubbies the 2000's! Upsy Daisy = Dipsy, the little one with the scooter is Po, and the blue on is Tinky Winky!

mistressmiggins · 19/03/2007 18:45

Bomper · 19/03/2007 18:51

WTF was that?!!! !! Weird!!

UnquietDad · 19/03/2007 22:18

It seems like Willo The Wisp crossed with Bagpuss and the Fimbles. DS (4) liked it.

donnie · 19/03/2007 22:38

OMG I watched this this evening and just couldn't believe it - talk about freaky!!!!

CODalmighty · 19/03/2007 22:40

theya re both shite

Lovecat · 19/03/2007 23:10

What I could not get over was DEREK JACOBI doing the narration! DEREK F*ing JACOBI!!!

Is he desperate for money or something?

Anyway, the OH and I watched it in complete 'wtf is this' mode while dd adored it, had a huge grin on her face and went to bed chanting 'mucca mucca'... omg...

The OH concluded that if he were a student again and smoking something, then he would have enjoyed it a lot more.

Why can't any of them wash their own faces?

Who lives next door to the Pontypines (their house was only a semi)?

Has Maccawacca (or whoever the hell he was) never heard of cross-infection? Using the same sponge and soap for everyone???

I need to go get a life....

Notquitegrownup · 20/03/2007 13:44

lol Lovecat!

LilyLoo · 20/03/2007 13:46

My dd 2 agrees was just on and when i asked her what it was she said 'teletubbies'

Steward · 20/03/2007 13:48

I saw it for the first time today and knew straight away it was by the samw people doing Teletubbies.

ComeOVeneer · 20/03/2007 13:49

DS (2) said "don't like it" and turned the tv of when he saw it last night

GooseyLoosey · 20/03/2007 13:51

It was horrendous. However as we are at the stage where ds is just asking to watch more telly, am hoping that he will be put off so there will be an upside to this mind numbing twaddle. After 15 mins was just telling myself my torment was over and my brain could commence functioning again and was then horrified to discover it lasted 30 mins

Dd (2) just kept asking what Macca whatever couldn't ride its bike and ds (3) looked on with bewilderment and asked whether anything happend other than face washing. I had no answers.

hoxtonchick · 20/03/2007 13:58

dd went mad for this yesterday....

Themis · 20/03/2007 14:12

I saw it last night and was totally confused by it and just had to watch it to try and understand it. But then I dont suppose the audience that its aimed for have to understand it.

All very surreal.

What is it all about ???

AnAngelWithin · 20/03/2007 14:13

omg what is this crap?? have just tried to turn the channel over and ds has just gone nuts at me!! hes fascinated!! AAAARGH!!!

laughingduck · 20/03/2007 14:14

Just watching now, oh its so odd, but strangely makes me want to curl up on the sofa and sleep.
