THE NIGHT GARDEN, IT'S THE NEW TELETUBBIES!

Just watching the night garden for the first time and come to the conclusion it is the Teletubbies the 2000's! Upsy Daisy = Dipsy, the little one with the scooter is Po, and the blue on is Tinky Winky!

I absolutely hate this, so much so I wont let my los watch it. I just cant see the point of it.

What a beautiful them tune. I turn it up to listen to it in the earlier showings! My only complaint about the programme is the time it's on, it is nearly 7pm when it's over, so after bath, book, milk, teeth etc, I rarely get my 2 asleep before 8.15pm at the moment - pre night garden it was around 8pm at the very latest. I have tried putting a video on before it starts, to help my DS forget it might be on, but he is obviously cleverer than me!

We are not kids, how could we understand it? It's obviously similar to the Teletubbies being made by the same people, but so what? I think the characters are adorable and my DD loves them, they are quite magical.
I hope they release the theme tune as a single!

Oh I absolutely agree with both Granny Murry and big cook little cook.

Maybe g Murry can go to their cafe and they can give her food poisoning, and they will get shut down!

Yurtgirl, how can you ban it? You're not meant to see the point in it, it's for babies. Having said that, I love it.

We tape it and often dp, dd and I will watch it, entranced, just before dd has her bedtime story (dp is currently on another PC and just idly sang 'Yes, my name is Iggle Piiiiiggle'!)

"Wheezes and squelches" has become the new term for farts in our house this evening after the pinky ponk attempted to blow itself clear of the trees

Dd is now a tombliboo, apparently, and so is ds. They were playing tombliboo football in the hall just before bedtime, with a baffled but game dh
I love the way Igglepiggle throws himself backwards with a squeak whenever disappointed or told off. We've all had days like that, surely?

There is something so enchanting in the way your toddler says "iggle piggle" - igewl pickewl....

In The Night Garden is made by Ragdoll, the production company that makes Teletubbies, hence similarity!

Puffling - babies dont NEED tv, night garden or otherwise!!!
